Are all the prophecies of 2012 true?

But the timing of these incidents closing in on that date seem a little strange! These could have happen years ago but it chose the dates closer to 2012!

Anyway I'm not trying to prove nothing or do I want anything proven to me, I'm just paranoid and I don't know what could possibly happen. Hey maybe the end of the world won't happen. Maybe it'll choose a different date. Or maybe some other random disaster will happen but it won't be the end of the world. Does anyone really know for sure? But I do have fun coming up with ridiculous theories based on wild imagination.

We're always looking for some Expiration date for the human race. Y2K, 2011 Rapture, 2012 Ark, 2030 Asteroid. I think it's all bollocks.
 
About all the earthquakes and hurricanes, they don't mean anything. We always have them, its just with the way the media exaggerates everything and so we think its so bad.

And also, those dates aren't true. No one knows when the world will end. 50 years? Tomorrow? Maybe while your reading this? ;)
 
For the record, the Mayans never predicted 2012 to be the end of the world, it is the prediction of when the Sun will be in the center of the Milky Way Galaxy . Also, they believe in time being circular, meaning they are not predicting the end of anything at all. Yeah. Not to mention that the idea of a Magnetic Pole shift is misunderstood in the OP. People are always looking for the next thing to be afraid of. Live your life now, don't worry about the future.

I just think these fears exist to give people something to talk about. You all remember how much discussion was generated from the whole Rapture thing back in June or something, right?
 
I don't think the world will end...Everyone was wrong about the 6th of the 6th 2006 weren't they?

I have an idea! Let's wait till 2012 and see if were all dead!
 
It won't happen in 2012... maybe in a billion years, because the theory of science says that the sun will go out. I'm not arguing with your point. :D

Great idea bro! 'Cept if I was dead, I wouldn't be seeing much of anything....

So yeah. :>

But even if we all die, we won't all die, only most of us. ISome of us will live. They may die too, but they may live and re-invent the population.

But that still might not be the end of the Earth, the red giant phase will last for 1 million years. After which it will contract to be a white dwarf, leaving the rocky core of Earth still orbiting in space.

Okay so yea with all the natural disasters and space distortion theories thrown out... how do you guys feel about a zombie apocalypse!?!?!

Just imagine... January 1, 2012 6:06:06 AM... people are all "yea told ya 2012 wasn't happening... back to my crappy job... and what's wrong this guy...? Hey... you okay dude... *bite* AHHHH ZOMBIE!!!"

Well that's a fun idea to poke at but definitely not likely... maybe... I mean, someone could be an evil mad scientist and make something JUST for 2012. Creates a disease that makes people want to eat each other and it looks like a zombie apocalypse but it's just a cannibalism disease outbreak. Of course that's also unrealistic...

...I have a crazy imagination. My next idea involves giant robots and transformers.
 
I really think people are allowing their fears and imagination get the better of them...we don't really know when it will occur...

It is nothing more than mere speculation,such a topic has been under a great deal of controversy for quite some time and has yet to happen,therefore,it would indeed be best to simply pay little attention to it...Or just don't worry much about it.:/
