What Booster Box?!

i have around 100$ to spend on a booster box. i found a reliable site that is selling First edition Neo Destiny Booster boxes for 99.00$

Im not sure if this is what i want to buy though. if any of you guys have any suggestions on what box i should buy i would much appreiciate it!
 
well it depends what you play, modified or unlimited.

If it was modified, I would advise you not to get the Neo Destiny box.

However, if you are a collector, sure that would be a good choice.
 
If you play modified and want to get a modified set, I would go for RR, or Rising Rivals. It comes with some decent starter trainers, as well as some REALLY good pokemon, and 2 of the most valuable Xs in the game, Luxray GLX, and Flygon X. If your a collector, by the Neo Destiny box.
 
there will be time for modified cards later... buy the neo destiny box... it contains very rare pokemon... you wont regret it. also, if you buy a modified set it will expire soon and the cards wont have too much value by then buy the neo destiny
 
personally (if I had the choice) neo destiny, why? cause of dark espeon (gouge what a great name for an atk), really (and not to be offensive to neo destiny's) its a matter of buying cards to play or buying cards to collect (neo destiny's can't stand up to to many current cards). gl n cya
 
Personally I would have to say get something for modified play. Either way, cards kinda drop or either gain in value after time passes. So no matter what box you get, its a hit and miss in terms of value.
 
What are you trying to achieve with the purchase of the box?

If it's to get rare cards and re-sell, I don't know what to tell you. I'd go with HG/SS that's about to come out. Re-sale value of a brand new set is at it's peak...so any of the cards that are in high demand you can re-sell and hopefully make back some of the money you spent.

I'm gonna have to agree with this, considering I've heard if the Alph Lithographs have been selling for about $90. Right there would be pretty much breaking even. Plus the legends and primes are worth quite a bit at the moment.

Get RR if you are into playability of cards, if you are more of a collector then get neo destiny

alph lithographs dont sell for 90 dollars not even near that most u get for it is just 15 dollars or less.only the japanese versions go high thats about it.


if your a collector wanting neo destiny packs for the shiny pokemon cards then yes but if your wanting just for the heck of it since its 1st edition then its iffy on it but like others say modified format go for rising rivals or hg/ss
