Bathe =/= swimming, most mammals bathe themselves in some fashion

That doesn't relate to poison. They could have been normal/ flying and still give off their desired bat effect just like how Whimsicott isn't part flying but still manages to pull off a cotton spore vibe.

so most mammals take baths? i had no idea most mammals knew how to, or were even able to.

Bathe is just immersing yourself in water typically for cleaning purposes but just going into water is sufficient a definition. Elephants do it all the time, tigers do it too, tapirs as well, dogs willing go into large bodies of water, many different examples.

but, from the start, i was talking about the monkeys in japan that take literal baths in the hotsprings. that's something no other wild animal in the world does naturally.

I was thinking about some water types I would love to see and what came to mind was a sword fish. Very offensive, possibly water/steel?

But wasn't pansage/panpour/pansear's type just incidental? I always tought they were based in that "don't tell, don't speak, don't listen" thing, "the wise monkeys" or something.
To be honest, they appear to be really superfluous, just the same monkey three times, with different types, and we already have a trio of early game mons with grass/water/fire: the starters.
Never saw the monkeys purpose, anyway.

Actually I would love an evolution to the elemental monkey trio. Basically what I am saying is elemental gorillas, monkey to monkey to gorilla.

I would like a quadrupedal bear Pokemon. I'm guessing Pangoro will be bipedal just as Ursaring and Beartic, and I don't think we'll get two bear Pokemon this generation but one can hope.

I don't understand why people expect realism from a game made for children...

Anyways, to get back on topic, I would love if there were to be some kind of cockroach Pokemon. I second the idea of a cockroach that has similarities of a dumpster. that was mentioned on another thread, I believe. Bugs are probably my favorite part of the animal kingdom, but I'm going to be honest here. I'm getting bored of the Bug/Poison types. I love how the 5th gen paired the type of Bug with others. (Steel, Fire, Electric, etc.)

That's a Japanese Spider Crab. It practically looks like a Pokemon already. I think GF could come up with quite a few concepts for this arthropod. Maybe, it could live at the bottom of a lava pool, rather than a body of water. Or maybe GF can stretch on the "spider" part of its name and let it squirt (I just couldn't find the right word... shoot?) web/string at its opponents. Just an idea.

@Lex that's a baby Lionfish and that image is from a Photo Contest I knew about. I'd like to see a Lionfish Pokemon.

@.Towelette Actually, I always wanted the Spider Crab to be an evolution of Kingler but looking forward and away from Kingler I wouldn't mind a Bug/Steel or Bug/Water Crab Pokemon.

If I could see a new pokemon getting the Fairy type I'd always imagine it being creatures we see from the deep or those odd creatures. For example I could totally see a creature may be based off of Nix or Zebra Lionfish that is Water/Fairy. You got loads of creatures. I'd love to see more odd looking deep sea bioluminescent creatures, they always exude that creepy yet awe-inspiring "ethereal" quality.

I hope for the same to but as fare as Pangoro goes it looks like that thing is going to be a kung fu fighting panda . . . yes I just said that too But I wouldn't mind a flaming pegasus like pokemon as an evolution for Rapidash or even a fire type legendary that resembles pegasus but is similar to rapidash.

Also, since this gen includes older Pokemon, maybe new evolutions?

-New Eeveelutions (they will most likely release two, if they release them at all)

-Male Combee evolution

Another thing, Pokemon we can expect:
-Earlygame bird
-Earlygame rodent
-Electric rodent
-Gimmicky things to showcase any new ingame features

Rapidash looks like a unicorn, so I want to see a Pegasus, as well.

some sort of fire demon (made entirely of fire, obviously a fire type)
an armored warhorse (steel, fighting type?)
a ghost horse (ghost type)

What about an armored ghost horse (ghost/steel)? Also I would love a constellation pokemon.

A Pegasus pokemon would be based on a constellation if you think about it. Also the ghost/steel thing would be awesome. I am surprised that Golett and Golurk are not already part steel type.

Agreed but then again all of those random dragons . . .

If you look at it correctly it almost looks like a Rayquaza who is already associated with the sky anyway.

But yeah a contellation pokemon would be awesome though.
