What Could Bandit Ring's 11th EX Pokémon Be?

I'll just be over here, continuing my hope against all hopes that we'll finally get a Suicune EX in Bandit Ring. >_> <_<

My guess is that we'll be getting (Confined) Hoopa EX and Arceus EX in Legendary Collection, but I'm on the fence about whether I think that set will be separate (like Double Crisis) or folded into Ancient Origins in some way (like Radiant Collection). If the September set does go in a different direction, perhaps starting a new TCG series, then I think we'll see the RC treatment (making the last set of a series go out with a bang like LT did for BW). I guess part of that depends on how well those mini-sets sell in English in the first place. They seem to be very popular in Japan (or at least they always sell out super quickly on AmiAmi compared to normal sets), so if they do equally well in NA and elsewhere, TPCi may prefer to stick to that route.

Either way, it's all speculation since it could certainly go either way. :p Fun to think about, though.

This is just my IDEA, but in XY look at all the decks with a corresponding release date as the set they featured in (when released in America/UK), they were labelled as decks and were put into the sets, however Team Magma vs Team Aqua was labelled just as 'Magma Gang vs Aqua Gang - Double Crisis', not a deck, and was not included in Primal Clash. This may be for a completely unknown reason like the amount of PCl cards in the set, but this upcoming product is labelled 'Emboar Ex vs Togekiss Ex deck' so I'm assuming it will be featured along side Ancient Origins.

But then again who knows? :oops:
 
If that happened it would be the first time we would ever get a deck in English with EX's in it. Which is why I don't think that will happen.

It would be nice just to get some more information already so that way we could all stop guessing.

I know!! The anticipation is killing me haha
on another note also...there are only 11 SR in bandit ring ( presumably the corresponding full arts for each RR ) so does this mean there are no full art supporters in bandit ring or do 2 of the RR'S in this set get shafted full art versions???
 
I don't think we have any way of knowing until we get more information. That's why I say let's get some more information so we can all stop guessing. Of course that will happen in about two weeks or so.

I do have to say though I would be okay with no full art supporters in the set. I realize this is my opinion and most will probably not agree but in my opinion this is the POKEMON trading card game not the Pokémon and trainer trading card game and trainer cards should not be given full art status like the Pokémon. Not that we haven't had some nice ones but that is beside the point...and also we've had some pretty lousy ones (Pokémon Center Lady and Pokémon Fan Club come to my mind as creepy looking).

Thats crazy that you say that because i have been getting fed up with the full art supporters also hahaha me being mainly a collector makes me really wish they would just give pokemom that haven't had full arts one instead of the supporters!! Ecspecially in the Japanese sets because full arts are hard to pull as it is and when you buy 6 boxes of emerald break and only end up pulling wally full arts it makes me want to scream haha
 
Well, that's what trading is for! :p I love the Full Art cards, supporters and Pokémon alike, and sometimes the art for the FA Supporters is even better than the Pokémon.
 
And sometimes not. Though I admit there are a few Pokémon full arts I'm not fond of, such as M. Rayquaza EX's and admittedly both Primals...it just looks to messy when you add in their seemingly glowing yellow eyes (which in most circumstances are considered creepy anyway). Likewise there are some nice supporter FA's. I happen to like Iris and Pokémon Fossil Researcher for example, though the latter is in big part because of Amaura also being present.
 
random thought but if the final ex is steel, and if they're using a non mega/ non legendary how about Bisharp?
 
I'm sure there's a second M Sceptile-EX mentioned somewhere as a promo alongside the M Swampert-EX and M Blaziken-EX so I'm not sure if yet another Sceptile makes sense in the set unless I'm wrong and there is no promo M Sceptile-EX. Speaking of I wonder how we're getting those other M-EXs?

Regardless, Ancient Origins is going to be stacked.

That's 16 EXs in the set, I think that's already a record even if the legendary collection is done as blisters instead of incorporated, since Tyrantum-EX is getting a box.

Kyurem has never gotten an FA since NXD, despite having 6 exs [2 Kyurem, 2 BKEX, 2 WKEX] , so we may see Kyurem get shafted.
 
To date there has been no mention of a promo M. Sceptile EX that I'm aware of. But we got the promo Sceptile EX before Japan did as far as I know so who knows. There could be one to go with the other two promos. I would almost bet there is but we have yet to hear a thing about it.

I hoped M. Sceptile EX would be dragon too, but that didn't happen. I would also hope for M. Ampharos EX to be dragon too but I have my doubts.

Grovylekid, Black Kyurem and White Kyruem did get full arts in Boundaries Crossed.

I wouldn't say that Kyurem has gotten shafted.

This puts me in mind of the Dragon Vault set that came out, that was all holos, 5 per pack, in 3 pack blisters with a promo. OMGGGGG I looooooved that little mini expansion. On the flip, the Magma/Aqua stuff bored me so hard. I didn't want a deck of it, and the art was too clunky, so even as a collector I was like "err no thx", so my bets are on the Legendary Holo Collection being the same as the Dragon Vault, and if so, Pokemon International is gonna LOVE all my money.

So many EXs, and I'm only interested in Lugia, Togekiss, and Ampharos (and maaaaybe Emboar and Tyranitar if the art looks kool). Wow, way to leave me unethused. :/
