what do you use to transport your decks?

I tried searching, of course, to no avail. I'm looking for a box to hold 60 cards. It must "fit" just right though. I don't want too much slop but also not so tight I can't get my fingers in there. (that's what she said...) I saw the deck holder from ultra pro. looks snazzy but I have a lot of decks, and that equals a lot of money. cheapest i found online went for 6.50$ per box. which means about 25$ for me. i wonder if the post office sells a carboard box in that size? i'm open to any suggestions.

I sometimes use the extra tins that I buy. Otherwise, I bought a Deckbox from my tourney center for about $2.00. There are these Pokémon ones with Charizard/Venusaur/Blastoise on them, and they come with 60 sleeves. I got one for $2.99, plus tax.

Ps: shouldn't that be "that's what he said? XD

If you want to be cheap, make your own box out of card stock or thin cardboard (cereal box). I did this for my son with his first deck. Another option is to use a tin – you can place cardboard inserts in the tin to divide it into sections and place the cards vertical. We have done both at our house, and both work well. Also you may be able to find good deck boxes for cheap if you have a gaming store in your area – I picked up a bunch for a buck each, hard molded plastic, in the clearance bin at the local game shop. These are all best also with the use of sleeves for you cards – if you want to protect them this is a must. Again see your local game store. For all the cards that are not in a deck, they reside binders with the 9 card sheet sleeves.

Well I usually carry it in my hand, but now I have a tin, so that could be the new way.
If you don't have anything, use a milk carton. That's what I used to store cards in the old days when I had nothing else, make sure you dry it out.

=___= Milk cartons...
At least use a tin.
I use an old box from the Crystal Guardians Prelease, and it works fine. With a heck of a lot of tape...

ya i went out and bought two tins. one for extra card storage and one for battle decks.
not a bad deal really, considering it cost 15$ and you get 4 boosters, a tin, and a level x card! the four boosters alone would have been 16$!!!!!

I use this sweet Cresselia deck box from Japan. The deck boxes from there are just the right size to fit a sleeved deck.

when i went to worlds '06 i got two deck boxes, they got kinda broken but three strips of tape on each side solved the problem =) the best thing to do i think would be to buy a box from japan as they make really nice ones.

You rich people....Do it like me, using an MP3 box and a mooncake box. Settled. No overpriced pieces of plastic with pictures on them.

I still think that milk carton=very cheap way to do it. Just a little poxy looking
As for tins, here one costs 30 AUD, which actually costs more then getting 4 boosters. The level X jacks the price up by like 5 AUD.
But I digress, tins would be the best way to go, or a specialized deck box.

I also use:
Offical Deck cases (Leafia/Glacia one, that's the matching one to PokeFan's one).
Manaphy Half-Deck box.
Red Deck Box (Which PikaFlash got for me in Singapore)
LA one
Naruto one (which holds my Naruto deck in it)
A Fake YGO Tin (holds my YGO decks~Exoida & Dark Paladin)
Other:
Tins (they hold my spare un/common cards in them)

I put my Decks into Deckboxes (Pokemon Ones from Japan) and carry them with me in my Backpack ^^

I use a zapdos deckbox and a 4 year old Ultra Pro olive green deckbox, also i sometimes use the Holon Phantoms deckbox. :D

Well I have 10 Japanese Deckboxes...
I seriously envy you.

I just use one of those large plastic containers for both my deck (not decks >_<) and my trading cards.

I use deck boxes, but I don't like carrying them around so I use my shaymin carrying case.:)
