From your list, you MUST finish Chrono Trigger. That game is absolutely fantastic. There is a reason why it's one of the top SNES (and Squaresoft/SquareEnix) games ever released.
Chrono Cross is a real mixed bag. If you're going to play that, finish Chrono Trigger first. IIRC, there's little continuity between Trigger and Cross and the only overlap between the two games is a few characters (key characters, mind you). It had some neat ideas going into it, but it came off as sloppy. I wish they would do another "Chrono" game because I'd hate to think that the series started as explosive as Trigger and ended quickly and lackluster as Cross.
The Mega Man games. I have only playes the classic series (1-10) and the X Series (X-X8) If you go Classic, start at 2 and work your way up. Mega Man 1 is TOUGH and I'd only recommend playing it once you play through 2 and 3 because the difficulty curve on 1 is pretty steep (if you start with 4, 5, 6 and then go into 1. You're going to get your head handed to you. They watered the games difficulty down over the years). MM6 is really easy. MM7 is pretty lackluster, but if you want to be a completist, go for it. I found the game to be pretty forgettable.
MM8 was annoying at times and I HATED the soccer ball weapon gimmick and the voice acting was awful. The graphics and music was really good though.
MM9 is great! A fantastic throwback to how business WAS done and their application of old mechanics and newly added mechanics and weapons was very seamless.
MM10 is a great sequel in terms of them improving on the success of 9. I'm a HUGE fan of chiptune music (especially the MM series) and the music just didn't seem to fit here. The music was significantly longer than previous selections before they had to loop over again, and they tried to match the music with the stages setting (Commando Man is a real obvious one). I don't know, I had an expectaion and they did something different. That's really my only complaint about MM10, really.
From the selections for the X Series, X4-X6 were decent and wrren't as enjoyable as X-X3. X7 was WEIRD and really bad at times (BURN! BURN! BURN! BURN TO THE GROUND! BURN BU-BURN! BURN!). X8 was a massive improvement on what went wrong with X7, but felt too easy.
They are coming out with MM 11 later this year, so get excited.
I've never been a huge fan of the Final Fantasy series. But if the selections are between 6, 8, or 10. Go with 6--isn't this FFIII in the US? If it IS FFIII, play that. I played FF8 in high school and compared to FF7, it suuuuuucked. FF7 set a HIGH bar. FF10 was good at the time (because people compared it to 8 and 9--both of which are not regarded kindly), but it's definitely no FF3 or FF7.
