A talking persian? That is just weird. It would never evolve anyway as it would end the series. Plus meowth would not have enough exp as it is always losing.

Jesse's Ekans and James' Koffing were losing all the time to Pikachu and they evolved to Weezing and Arbok.

If meowth did evolve I have this horrible image of the persian having the same voice. Imagine what it would look like having a persian that sounds like meowth. It is weird.

They would never have Meowth evolve because it part of the story how Meowth is always angry that Persian is getting all the attention from Giovanni.

I doubt it. Meowth rarely battles. If he has gained any levels, it still wouldn't be many.

The only attacks I've seen him do are fury swipes and an attempt or two at pay day. Doesn't team rocket realize if they train meowth they could make money?
