So back around 2 years ago I made a thread asking the members of pokebeach what internet browser they used. But for some reason a flame war started. So I want to revive my old thread.

So as the thread title states, what internet browser do you use?
It's optional to post why you use it, and if you used others ones before and why you switched, etc. Also if you use different browser equally, you can post that as well.

I have used Mozilla Firefox for around 3 years, and I've loved it.
But about 2 to 3 months ago Firefox got buggy and it crashed often and it won't function correctly. So I downloaded Google Chrome, as I heard it was fast and reliable browser. Since then I still remain to use Google Chrome.
I'm not sure when it started, but now on Google Chrome if you have a Google account, you can sign into it in your settings and you can sync your bookmarks with your Google account. So when I got my new Desktop, instead of having to download my bookmarks from Firefox and open them in Firefox to save them. (Which is what I have done in the past year whenever i got a new computer or I had to reset the hard drive.) All I did was download and install Chrome and log into my Google account and boom, all my bookmarks ready to use in seconds.
Before I knew of other internet browsers, which was 4-5 years ago, I used the dreadful Internet Explorer and since then I never went back.

Firefox. I can tell that its faster and what not. The add on system works really well. I also love the persona thing (or whatever it is that lets you choose a style for your overhead browser banner). So yeah firefox for me. If anything the little red fox just looks call on my desktop.

I have 4 of the 5 internet browsers, seeing as you can't get Safari on a PC.

Internet Explorer is just terrible. There's no other way to describe it.

Google Chrome is a bit annoying for what I'm used to operating, so I stopped using that a few days after I downloaded it.

Opera, IMO, is the best internet browser out there. It's fast*, reliable, and can copy/paste transparent PNG pictures without the black background. (That's important if you're a spriter.) The only problem I have with it is that it won't load my e-mail.

And that's where Firefox comes in. It's a good Browser, but the only reasons I really use it are for my e-mail, PDF files (Opera glitches up with them), and so I don't have too many tabs open on Opera. (10+ tabs annoys me.) Firefox is annoying with what it wants me to download, though, and also copies/pastes transparent PNG pictures with the black background.

So, to me, neither one is truly better (between Opera and Firefox), I just prefer Opera.

Linux-Opera-Operating guy out. Peace!

*And when I say fast, I mean fast. You know GPX+? When I went there, Opera would load over 50 tabs of that place in <10 seconds. ;D I'm not kidding.

Firefox it the absolute best.

All right, all right, I don't want to start a flame war here. Maybe a nice water war..? (You know, where people don't actually get offended, but there are debates..?) Anyways, if you're going to say stuff like this, please back it up with a reason. If you don't, it makes our forum look a bit... stupid.

I'm not saying you're stupid, just saying, without backing stuff like this up, it looks like most of us don't know what we're talking about.

I used FF till it got buggy. Now I use Chrome, and Safari, my clear favorites.

I am right now using Safari. But I mostly use Google Chrome. But since by Chrome will not work on me I have to use Safari. :(

Where have you been the past years? :p
You can get Safari on a PC.
It's not only a mac browser.

I myself use Opera for just web browsing, and I use either Firefox or Google Chrome for watching videos. My reason for this is that Opera is the fastest browser, but videos take forever. That's where Chrome and Firefox come into play. They load videos very quickly.
I used to have Safari, but it crashed very often so I just got rid of it. Firefox maybe next because it seems to like to crash lately too.

I use Firefox because it's my computer and I can do what I want with it.

Plus I like the way it looks.

I had Internet Explorer, but didn't like the overall use of it. Firefox is better for me IMO.

dmaster out.

I've never heard of Safari and Google Chrome.

Internet Explorer is slow, and I generally dislike it.

I use Opera on my Wii and DS to access their internet channels.

I use Firebox on everything else.

I use Firefox at PokeBeach for the spell check. I use ie everywhere else, so I can block cookies. You should see the number of tracking cookies you can get at some sites.

Anyone use Safari 5? I read on the Apple website that it used HTML5. I don't know if Chrome, IE, Firefox, or Opera used HTML5 yet. But I can tell it's going to be a great way to browse the web. I already love it on my iPod Touch, I guess I'll have to do some research on it and post back when I find it.

I prefer Firefox. Used Chrome. Didn't care for the lack of plugins (That I knew about) so I tried Firefox. The Addblock Plus has to be the best thing that has ever happened to my computer. That, and spool cheek.
