Discussion What is Garbodor/Noivern GX

One Parallel City is fine by the way, as finding room for it would mean you have to remove one of your other disruption cards. I prefer just the one, but if you feel the deck needs it, I'd suggest removing a Red Card (though I believe Red Card is way better). Item count at the moment seem to be a little high, so watch out for the Trashalanche decks. If you can Item lock them early, I think that is the best way to beat them (don't officially know just yet).

Edit: What do you think about Peeping Red Card? Maybe a 1/1 split between the regular and the Peeping Red Card? I personally like putting your opponent down to a four card hand, but knowing what your opponent has and having the ability to shuffle what was to be a good hand isn't bad either.

I would like to mention that just because it loses to Gardevoir GX doesn't mean it isn't good. Gardevoir GX loses to Metagross GX, Metagross GX loses to Volcanion EX, and Volcanion EX loses to Greninja Break but that doesn't stop people from playing them. Hopefully, Gardevoir GX will lose enough of its popularity and leave room for Noivern GX/Garbodor but as you had mentioned, until it does, Noivern GX/Garbodor will remain that fun deck to play that loses to Gardevoir GX. Maybe, just maybe.

So I have this huge problem right now. I cant seem to draw my Energy in my opening hand, at all. That hurts this deck a ton, as we want to get the turn 2 Item lock. I'm also having mixed feelings about the mixed energy counts. We want a Darkness energy on the first turn, anything else afterward. Was also thinking about a Wally, but I'd rather not add it. Maybe some Energy Lotos to find energy more consistently?

Yeah, I guess missing the energy on any turn is bad for this deck as (like you mentioned) if you can't hit the consecutive turn one/two attachments, you're without Item lock. My suggestions for the problem would be something along the lines of:

Professor's Letter: If you're considering playing Energy Loto, you might as well play the Letter instead as you definitely get energy without the chance factor and you get two.

Oricorio: The "search your deck for energy ability" Oricorio isn't that bad since you can search for it with Ultra Ball (unlike Professor's Letter). Only problem is that it takes up bench space and you only use it once. (From GRI)

Only problem Oricorio is a dead card once Garbotoxin is active. As for Letter, how many do you think is good amount to run? I'd say no more than 2.

I'd say one Letter and one extra energy, just because Item count is high at the moment. Maybe:

-1 Red Card or Peeping Red Card (just for room)
-1 N (just because you mentioned that you prefer not to shuffle opponent's hand)

+1 Professor's Letter
+1 Energy (of your choice)

I don't know about removing N, and maybe it doesn't need to be but for the moment, it will have to do. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
