Well as the title states I want to find out the best competitive deck out there. But I want you to give me a reason for your choice that is why I havent included a poll as I wouldn't get any constructive feed back

Thanks in advance :)

Its usually the deck you can play best with.
Seriously, there are so many options, there isn't a clear-cut best.

There is no "best" competitive deck. There are alot of good Competitive decks, none of which are the best: legos, kingdra, machamp, gechamp etc.

Ok let me rephrase it to which deck do you believe in your own opinon and style is the best deck to play

I like Blazetran because it's fast and it hits hard, I like Legoes cause locking your opponent is just so much fun lol, Flygon is a nice meta-game deck....

As everyone else says, whatever works best with you.
What decks do you like playing? How advanced are you? What kind of cards in general do you like?

Well my favourite is toxitank as you really cant go wrong but my one has a twist.

Otherwise for competitions I would use Dialga G

GeChamp, Machamp, and SP are at the top of my list, although this may change as the winners and top cuts of BR are coming in.

dmaster out.

Tyrannitar FTW, takes a while to set-up, but by like T4-T5 you can pretty much dominate the game.

I still don't know my playstyle yet maybe because i'm a crud player but I make wonderful decklists.
SP FOREVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!

Dusknoir is still a EXTREMELY good contender, people just don't know how to make a good Dusknoir deck anymore.

If you want a competitive deck, build one that works around:
Gengar/Nidoqueen (use things like Unown Gs, Devoluter, burn?, Weavile)
Dialga G (use things like Fire pokes, big supporter lines, don't rely on bodies, etc.)
Mewtwo X (a.k.a. don't play SP-only unless you run Dialga G X)
Luxray GL (watch out for techs with high retreat costs e.g. Nidoking)
Machamp (play enough basics to avoid poor starts or run Call Energy)

Machamp will probably become obsolete (it already is in Ontario) largely due to Gengar's popularity.

What you talking about, Gengar is still played a lot in Ontario ... well in Toronto anyways =D.

I know, I said because Gengar is being played more in Ontario, Machamp is becoming obsolete.

O yea thats what I meant, I still see Machamp around, like a lot ... well not as much as before, but don't count him out.
