What is the Best Way to Shuffle?

Honestly, I have no clue what to say...

I have been experamenting with the best way to shuffle and I have tryed:

1. Plain shuffling
2. 6 pile shuffle
3. 8 pile shuffle
4. plain sliding cases together shuffling
5. #s 2 and 4 combined
6. #s 3 and 4 combined

I have found the best way to shuffle out of those is the # 6 up there but I was wondering if there was even a better way to shuffle WITHOUT cheating by the way. I hate cheaters :/ What does everyone think?

What is 6 Pile shuffling and there is a best way to shuffle?

6 pile shuffling is like setting out 6 cards in a row and then randomly placing them on the 6 mini piles making a super shuffled up deck.

BTW, I am not sure if there actually is a best way to shuffle but I think there is.

^LOL I think I heard that before on the pokegym^and anyone care to explain these shuffling strats as I need way better shuffling techniques or skills

Throw your deck at your opponent and make them pick it up, I call that the 'PWNAGE shuffle'

lol, that is great! Does anyone else have good ways to shuffle?

pile shuffling

That is the same thing as the 6 pile shuffle and the 8 pile shuffle.

Anything else?

I take small stacks from my deck and do a 3 pile with each of them, then I shuffle them all together one at a time. It is very effective.

I used to do that too, but sometimes I found that it wasn't enough shuffling power. So far I prefer the 8 pile shuffle.

You could build an auto shuffle machine? Is that allowed?

I pile shuffle when I have time, otherwise I just toss them together a little sliding style.

lol, it could be! As far as I know there isn't a rule against it! ;)

Maybe pile shuffling is the best.

Um do a regular shuffle followed by a six pile shuffle then a regular shuffle, repeat this 3 times, I've found it's the best way to prevent clumping. My girlfriend came up with the formula.

Cool! I will try each of those out and see how it does! Any thing else?

Jason Klaczynski (Two-times Worlds Champion) actually stated his shuffling method in an interview (with a person I hope you know). The method takes around two minutes (which is worth it).

It's first an ordered six-pile, followed by riffle shuffling, than a randomized six pile, and then more riffle shuffling. If it hasn't been two minutes, you didn't shuffle long enough and you'll need to repeat the process.
