What is the Maximum Amount of Damage A Pokemon Can Deal?

Blah almost exactly had it. The only problem was that using Lysandre's Trump Card never gets rid of the 5 prizes drawn (Assuming they are all Energy), and they will be stuck in your hand as long as you keep drawing cards. He did, however, get the right amount of possible damage.

To clarify, I'm going for the max amount of damage possible with one attack, not counting any attacks requiring flips, while also being possible to achieve under regular battle rules. Here is the ultimate battle:

The Decks
Receiving Player (The player that gets hit by the X Ball of all X Balls)
Pokemon
1-1-1 Gardevoir NXD
1-1-1 Vileplume BCR
1 SableyeG SV
2 MewEX

Trainers
None

Energy
51 Psychic

Attacking Player (The player that commands the king of all MewtwoEXs)
Pokemon
2-1-1 Gardevoir NXD
1 MewtwoEX
2 MewEX

Trainers
1 N
1 Iris

Energy
51 Psychic
This is Sableye:

Now that the deck lists are out of the way, here is how the turns in the battle must go:

Turn 1
Receiving Player
The Receiving player goes first.
Starting Active Pokemon: Sableye
Starting Benched Pokemon: Ralts, Oddish, MewEX, & MewEX
Rest of opening hand: Gloom & Vileplume
They draw a Psychic Energy, attach it to Ralts, and pass

Attacking Player
Starting Active Pokemon: Ralts
Starting Benched Pokemon: Ralts, MewtwoEX, MewEX, & MewEX
Rest of opening hand: Kirlia & Gardevoir
They draw a Psychic Energy, attach to MewtwoEX, and pass

Turn 2
Receiving Player
Draws Psychic Energy then attaches it to Ralts
Ralts Evolves as well as the Oddish
Sableye uses Scratch for 10

Attacking Player
Draws Psychic Energy then attaches it to MewtwoEX
Evolves the Benched Ralts and passes

After this, the Receiving player keeps dealing 10 with Sableye, slowly but surely taking out Ralts and both opposing MewEX for 5 Prizes. Kirlia and Gardevoir are drawn from the prizes. The Attacking player keeps attaching Psychic to MewtwoEX as they send up the two MewEX. The Attacking player then uses their loaded MewtwoEX to KO the opposing Sableye and both MewEX for 5 Prizes, one of which is N.
If you read the last word in this sentence then you owe me a dollar.
Once both players have taken 5 Prizes, the Attacking player attaches to MewtwoEX then uses N, and both players draw 1 card. Receiving player keeps attaching to Gardevoir (Who is the new Active Pokemon) and passing. Attacking player keeps attaching to MewtwoEX and passing. They drew an Iris from the N earlier.

Turn 50
Both players have fallen asleep twice at this point...
Receiving Player
They draw the last card in the deck, a Psychic Energy.
Attach to Gardevoir and Pass

Attacking Player
They draw the last card in the deck, a Psychic Energy.
It is attached to MewtwoEX and they use Iris.
MewtwoEX uses X Ball for GG

There were 50 Psychic Energy (51st was Prized) on Gardevoir, and MewtwoEX also had 50 Psychic Energy (51st was Prized), which totals 100 Energy attached. Vileplume was in play as well as a Gardevoir on both sides.

20(4(100*2))+200
20(4(200))+200
20(800)+200
16,000+200
16,200

Hit a Sigilyph for 700 with a Drifblim for last prize against Donphan. Otherwise 350 to everything else. This is probably the only time I can see a pokemon hitting above 300 without weakness besides the coin flip with Malamar Ex.

Wow, totally forgot Gardevoir could be the one to suck up all the damage.

But wait, why won't the Trump Card/Seeker strategy work? It's an infinite loop so that you never deck--Trump card, seeker for trump card which puts seeker back in, etc. It entirely removes the issue of decking out altogether with 2 cards (and one card on the opposing side, an Ultra Ball do re-discard rare candies which can be used over the middle evolution line) so you can attach energy to your heart's content. The 5 prizes will simply get attached while you loop your discard pile--they won't end up stuck in your hand. It also allows you to recycle the Pokémon you knock out (which, although it will take a while, works perfectly fine since you have infinite turns with the Trump Card/Seeker combo), so I actually think we might be able to get a bit extra from what we calculated.

GUYS. M Charizard with Team plasma badge, 4 Deoxys EX, a magnazone, your opponent has 5 prizes taken so you play 2 Iris (at 440 now), opponent is a Virizion (weak to fire), and opponent has a vileplume (X4 weakness) so 880*4= 3520!

It isn't 880. It would be 440*4=1760. Which is still bonkers.

In expanded:
Drifblim vs Mewtwo EX
4 Prisms, 4 DCEs, 8 Blends, 4 Rainbows, 4 Special Psychic, 4 Special Fighting, 4 Special Fairy, 4 Special Grass, 4 Plasmas (40 * 50 = 2000)
Plasma Badge, 4 Deoxys (+40 = 2040)
Magnezone, Double Iris (+100 = 2140)
Whimsicott Fluffy Tag, SSU into Old Amber to get out Aerodactyl (+50 = 2190)
4 PlusPower (+40 = 2230)
Opponent has Vileplume (x4 = 8920 Damage)

Probs the most realistic ;)

I think I finally figured out what you mean. I'm going to try this out with real cards and see if it works.

1 Keldeo, 1 Blastoise, 1 Squirtle, 1 Oddish, 1 Vileplume, 2 Rare Candy, 53 Water Energy against opponent weak to water . 4720 damage not using any trainers.

Well, it may not be a wham bam punch but malamar ex with 59 energy, and the person using it somehow flips 59 heads, with the opponent using a darkness weak pokemon and a vileplume with allergy panic can do a whopping 14160 damage! it may be a combo but jesus Christ that is a ton of damage.
