Daft Punk-Random Access Memories. An iTunes stream just came out and I have been listening to it constantly. It is easily the best album of the year, in my opinion.

Been listening to a ton of Tyler, the Creator for the past month or so. I'm not really sure why but maybe it's just because he's different than most artists that I've grown bored of lately.

Just signed up for Google Play Music All Access. Easily the best music service out there if you have Android devices- it'll probably be going cross-platform if you don't have Android devices. $7.99 a month if you sign up before June 30 or something.
Basically, you get access to all of Google's 18 million+ library of songs and you can listen to whatever you want and add it to your library/download it for listening offline. It's amazing.

Anyway, I've been listening to two albums: Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by the Smashing Pumpkins and In Utero by Nirvana. Great albums if you love heavy guitars. Also, Billy Corgan has the voice of an angel. My favorites:

Every track on this album is a statement. Each one brings it's own style and beat into the mix, and you feel that the future and past are being blended into one piece. It's indescribable.

I don't know, I guess whenever I'm playing a game, I need a playlist to listen to. I'm too lazy to throw one together, so I find one somewhere somehow. They just end up having a lot of Dubstep and songs like this.

Here's a sad little song by Slipknot, called "Snuff". It describes my current situation perfectly. I was surprised at first that such an angry band like Slipknot could make such a mellow song.

All good metal bands can make mellow songs. You'd be surprised if you search into it.
Anyway, I've been listening to Warlord lately. The way they play music is... well, artistic. It sounds completely different than any metal band I've ever heard before. If you hear the "Deliver us", you'll understand what I mean.

Queen. They're throwing down some infectious rhythms, and I'm now a semi-big fan of progressive/hard rock.

I like to slow it down with some Bohemian Rhapsody and Sheodon's ACIII piece. They're both great! I love all of the beats and rhythms, and the different instruments make it great.

3 Doors Down and some Maroon 5. I love the lyrics 3 Doors Down uses. "Here Without You" is one of my all time favorite songs. Maroon 5's songs "Harder to Breathe" and "She Will Be Loved" are catchy and really good in my opinion. Some of their newer songs like "Beautiful Goodbye", "Daylight", and "Lucky Strike" are good as well.

Chelsea Grin, Make Them Suffer, Whitechapel, Suicide Silence, Three Days Grace and The Rasmus.
I don't know why, I like lyrics with that either tells a story, is disgusting/sadistic, or funny. Also, I love the sound of rock/metal drums, and heavy guitars.

Currently, I'm listening to Los by Rammstein. It is a change from their intense metal, and I found it when I was listening to my Static-X channel on Pandora taking my Forensics exam Thursday.

Erra. Great "djent" metal. The guitars are amazing, great vocal range<3 singing is ok but sounds a little forced. LOVE them, my favorite song by them is Seven.

Queens of the Stone Age released a new album today (...Like Clockwork), which is their first in, I think, 6 years. So I'll be listening to that all week until my ears bleed. It's soooo good.

I love Lykke Li's music! Her voice is just so beautiful and calming and I'm always listening to her!

I've also been listening to Marina & The Diamonds quite a lot recently. Her unique voice pretty much wows me all the time.

I am listening to Adam Lambert lately...Huh? You already knew that? What, are you stalking me?

Why am I listening to him? Because his vocal range is unmatched by every other singer on Earth, including female singers, his song have deep meanings (a lot of them), his song have great beats, and most importantly, he's FABULOUS like me :D
