ORAS What New & Returning Features Do You Want in OR / AS?

Well.... I only know it worked in grass in FRLG but couldn't, and still can't find my Hoenn games to test it. I was probably too busy using Cut on crass anyway lol

Oh, yes. Not necessarily Super Training itself, but the IV/EV graph *needs* to stay. I'd rather it was done numerically rather than how it is now, but either way, it is incredbly helpful.

Im seriously hoping they add Johto Balls into ORAS this time around. Im one of those people that loves to match the ball (or ball effects when it opens) with the coloring of the Pokemon, and especially so with shiny Pokemon. The current set of Pokeballs we have to choose from is pretty lackluster in variety, and we could really use a couple more all green balls (IE Friend Ball) and the Moon/Heavy Ball with its emphasis on grey/light grey.

I support that entirely! I also like to match the balls' colors with Pokémon!
Either that or adding the possibility of changing the type of ball after capturing the Pokémon!

This. A hundred times this.

I've wanted this forever. Trying to capture a Pokémon in a specific ball has plagued me for too long.

I would definitely welcome the return of a variety of Move Tutors.

I believe Fire Red and Leaf Green had them, so a comeback is a possibility.

A lot of Kalos Pokémon deserve an expanded movepool, so this would definitely be welcomed. I would also like to see new Egg Moves introduced for them as well, since HeartGold and SoulSilver did introduce new Egg Moves for some Gen IV Pokémon.

Move Tutors are practically a sure thing, we've had them in every mid gen game since FRLG. Even Crystal if you count the guy that teaches you Flamethrower/Ice Beam/Thunderbolt outside the Goldenrod Game Corner.

How about a new feature that goes along with Pokeball Seals? You can customize the color of the Pokeball and put seals on it. So, the color of the pokeball will be the color of the light that sends them out, and the Seals will add effects. So, the red on the default one, or the blue on Great, Black on Ultra, etc (basically, the main part of the top of the ball) would get colored, so you know what color it is. I'd really love to do that and color my shiny Chesnaught's ball burgundy and put in explosion/dust cloud effects so when he comes out it's just a huge blast of reddish smoke and then he's like "Imma kik yo azz!" :p

I hope the ball capsules return along with the original 7 battle frontier brains and facilities.
The berry making machine make a return also would be fun. and plz let Contests return, I miss it :)

In the new trailer for ORAS, it has one of the dressed up Pikachus on a stage with a caption saying 'could this be some kind of contest hall?'
This is obviously put there as a rhetorical question, so it looks pretty likely contests are coming back.
hopefully they are like the original R/S/E ones, not the D/P/Pt ones.

Also, one thing I thought:
Secret Bases are confirmed to be found through use of Secret Power. This was all good in the original, as we got the tm there and then.
However, now we don't have said TM in the game, and the only Poke to learn it through level up is Audino.
could there be a possibility of a slightly revamped TM list to include Secret Power?
(of course there could just be an Audino given to us by whateverhisnameis when we first learn about Secret Bases... or its a tutor move early on)

Doesn't the TM's list change with every generation/game? If Secret Power wasn't a TM in XY then I guess they'll go the easy route: reintroduce it as a TM. It doesn't make that much sense to be available by some giveaway Pokémon that can be deleted and then the chance for a Secret Base lost. A Move Tutor? Possible but still a worse option when compared to simple give us the TM like it was before by that guy (that now must be that flag guy wearing red) after crossing Fiery Path and keeping since we now don't lost TM after one use!

Trick House! I love puzzles! I hope it will include complicated puzzles. Also, I flipping love Abandoned Ship, they better not screw that up. It's filled with mystery, adventure, horror...

PS: It will be so super cool if Frillish/Jellicent live there

OMFG YES!!
I LOVED Ball Capsules in gen 4 so much! I spent so much time customizing them and enjoying them! I want to see them make a triumphant return so bad! I'd really love to see them add more seals as well.

What if team Magma had Ground and Fire types on their teams? That way it would fit with the typing of young Groudon.

Team Magma's Pokémon:
Geodude and Graveler
Sandshrew and Sandslash
Donphan
Rhyhorn
Numel and Camerupt
Magcargo
Torkoal

That way they also have Rock types, which also fits with their expanding of the land idea.

Team Aqua's Pokémon:
Gyarados
Tentacool and Tentacruel
Carvanha and Sharpedo
Wailmer
Crawdaunt
Starmie
Relicanth
Lanturn

Another one I just thought of ... the Pokemon World Tournament. I absolutely loved running into all those gym leaders and such, even though they kept their team themes and either I could sweep them if I had a type advantage, or they'd sweep me if I didn't ...

The TM-list used to be consistent within each generation, due to the TMs themself being tradeable items. The HMs however being infinite-use, and therefore not able to be held by pokemon, hence restricted to each game, gave the freedom to be changed at any new game. HGSS for example had Whirlpool return, replacing Defog.

Now with the TMs being handled the same, there is nothing that would require the list to stay unchanged for ORAS. I definitely expect some changes.. Say ~20, but the more, the better, it can only widen options, as you can trade to XY to teach anything absent.

I don't think there's going to be a significant increase in TMs, if they were going to do that, they would've had more than 100 in XY. I do think there's going to be some subtle changes though, we know from the main site that Rock Smash is an HM again, so maybe it'll just be that and bringing back Secret Power.

I didn't say anything about increase in numbers.
Just that the amount of changes we normally see between generations is now possible between games.

If ball capsules returns them make it somewhat easier, like adding a square grid. I always had some hard time trying to understand what was the difference between placing one seal on top of the other or the other way around and when trying to create something symetrical I would have to have steady hands because a little further below, down or on the side and the whole effect was different. :(

Also, bring back the BGM NPC.

I know this is probably not doable for a mid-gen game, but I would love the ability to put filters on Link Battles, so there's some way to just go 'no mythics legendaries on either side'. I get tired of doing a Link Battle with a passerby or acquaintance and it's Mewtwo, Arceus, Victini, Xerneas, Yveltal, and Darkrai.
