First off, name is SotS, lol.

Second: I call it clunky cuz... Well it looks clunky, mind posting which of these you DO use? Since you said you don't use all of them? And VileGar is fast if used correctly, lol. I've won 2 with it, and was knocked out of Top Cut once... Because of VileGar. It shuts down Trainers basically all game, and sets up Gengars in ONE turn. Gastly, Haunter, Gengar by BTS, then one Psychic is NOT hard to pull off. Have you tried playing it before you bashed it? XD

Because in my defense, I have tried CurseGar. And it was already too slow to me. It just didn't seem fast enough. And Where are you getting that VileGar needs Claydol to set up another Gengar? Because that's way off.

Post your Techs from here that you use and your record so far please. Because I honestly want to know how this works.

Don't take any of this the wrong way, I'm simply leaving replies that I put my opinions in. ;)

Yes ive tryed playing one before and i won the game this was at battle roads. You cant use rare candy with vile gar and its hard to get that prefect of a hand unless if you have a lot of haunter and gastleys and gengars in your deck i mean like four of each.

How is curse gar not fast enough you just hafe to put more energy on to the curse gengar. And you can have electrode prime in there. And if you had like an odish start with vile gar its bad but with this deck you can start with any card and it can be good well besides mewtwo.

may i ask what is your pokemon line for this deck? 'am just curious to know. and may i ask how does this deck fare against donk and other fast decks out there?

Well my deck list is on tournment garage. Well spiritomb slows down fast stuff but i guess some stage one evolutions spiritomb wont help this is no differnt for vile gar. Its still far from over if it was knocked out by that stage one evoultion. Im not getting any compliments from any one.

can i have its link? im just thinking, how can your deck overcome those? i mean donkphan is an example and kingphan perhaps. cuz if your running 1 SF *fainting spell*, 1 AR *cursegar*, 1 LL*prime gengar*, and a lv.x of gengar then your strategy with cursegar is led astray.

im not putting you down or something but you wont get compliments on your deck if there is polishing required. im just trying to help you out there.

I've been running CurseGar for a couple of weeks now and it is really slow,but once(if)you can get set up with a Curse Gengar your good.

I've been lucky enough to beat 2 LuxChomp(still don't know how though)and beat a couple of VileGar(also don't know how).I run Sage's Training to help with the loss of Claydol and plan to make good use of Twins when we get that.I also use Lucian's Assignment to move energy off of my hurt Gengar.

I can see that the loss of Claydol hurt the deck(I never played CurseGar when Claydol was around)but there is small ways to kind of help with getting through the deck,just not as fast or consistant.

What is your record with your build of cursegar?

I tested a cursegar build with your techs and it didn't do very well, especially against sps which dominate the meta. It is really cluncky.

I didnt play it at battle i knew it wasnt ready yet. If you dont devolpe it yes it will be clunky.

So you haven't actually used the deck yet. How can you confirm the deck does well? Through my testing it hasn't done well. There are too many unnecessary techs that aren't really that useful. (I'm not using all the techs)

As consistent as I could get it in this format. Basically Use the SP Engine to find your energy along w/ Poketurns. Lucksray is really good where you bring up their Regice and poketurn bring up tomb and stall to get set up. 3/2 Twins/Bebe's because you want to let the tomb die and use Twins to get set-up fast. It was REALLY hard to fit in these. Let alone your techs.

drop 2 BTS for 2 more bebe's. theyre really needed under trainer lock, which you are in early game. May also want a few warps, since spiritomb always gets trapped up there.

I find gengar prime only good in a curse gar deck since lost world is not released in amaerica or europe and the card twins is excellent in a curse gar deck.
