XY What should multiplayer feature in Pokémon X and Y?

I was wondering what multiplayer feature would be included in Pokemon X and Y.
If you don't know what I am talking about, here are some examples.

Generation 2 (Heart Gold Soul Silver): Pokeathlon + Battle frontier + Pokewalker
Generation 3: Pokemon contests + Battle Frontier (I haven't played it so if I didn't include anything else, sorry!)
Generation 4: Pokemon contests + Underground + Poffin house.
Generation 5: EntraLink + Musical Theater + Battle Subway
Generation 6: ???

I am hoping for all of these above to be included! But a new suggestion would
be for a stadium where you can connect to your friends and join their world!
I would also like a place where you can challenge your friends in hard games and
whoever finishes first, wins a rare item. What are your decisions?

Gen III had the Battle Frontier too, so I'd fix that XD

I kinda want a place that's like a giant maze with challenges along the way. Whoever is first gets either a boosted chance to find something for x amount of time (like a shiny Pokemon for 15 minutes) and go down the list like that. Either that or add something along the lines a Battle Dome, but with multiple people.
