RSE/FRLG What was the first Pokemon you caught in Gen 1-3 and why?

Fire red: was a pidgey since pidgeot is a beast
Saphire: wurmple, zigzagoon, Ralts
Emerald tallow, ralts
 
My first game was Ruby. I got Treeko first, but first pokemon I caught was either Poochyena, or Zigzagoon.

Did you like solo the whole Emerald with only your starter and no HM slaves until you got to Artisan cave? Is that even possible?

Charmander learns Metal Claw in FRLG though, I beat Brock easily with him LOL

Though I was forced to catch a Pikachu in Fire Red to beat Misty with her stupid Starmie's Water Pulse >>
 
Hmm, on the original red I caught Pidgey first on my first run through.. >_> It was fine though I actually like Pidey. :D
 
leafgreen: I cant remeber, might have been pidgey or somthing like that...
Sapphire: Nincada, i wanted shedninja.. after that though i ran into a shiny tailow!!!!!!
Platinum: Starly, i took the easy approach in that game.
Soulsilver: Mareep..
 
My first caught pokemon was in fire red when i caught a mankey. i loved mankey, and i couldnt wait to have a primeape on my team. In every replay i get a primeape!
 
Yellow- Pidgey, I thought pidgeot was cool so o course I needed Pidgey :p

Gold- Sentret, I was young and just caught what I could

Ruby- Wurmple, I wanted a Beautifly but ended up with a Dustox

I was fairly young, and to me pokemon was just a cool game where I caught creatures :p I never looked at it strategicaly until I was around 10. And now 4 years later I still am not as move savvy as everyone else here ;)
 
Red:pidgey. I caught this when I was four and had a little knowledge of Pokemon.

Crystal:Hoothoot was my first catch on this game. I got it when I was five.

Ruby:I think it was either Wurmple or Seedot. I can't remember.

Anyways, thats my first catches!
 
Red- Probably a ratata, no reason, or anything special.
Gold- Guessing a geodude
Emerald- Mudkip
Nothing really that memorable, but it's still my first
