What was your most exciting battle?

In the City Championships.

I was running Raichu against BlazeTran, and it was a really close game. In the end, we both had one prize left, but he KO'ed me first and he won.

It was the funnest game I ever played.

I think mine was FlyChamp vs. Legos first time I played against it back before Supreme Victors was released, 2nd time against it I had a very close game with Metal Gengar. It was the one game where I regretted running Metagross SV over Nidoqueen RR cause that extra damage from Ruthless Tail probably would've sealed the deal for me but I liked being able to bench snipe with Gengar SF back then.

At Cities 2010 I came really close to beating an SP deck with Mother Gengar while running a Relicanth SV tech to help swing things back in my favor. Then there was the other game at Cities where I managed to beat a Giratina/Gengar deck by a hair, helping me win my second game while beating a Flygon variant earlier on.

Then my most recent one was Ampharos/Garchomp vs. MamoChamp, it was a fun game I gotta admit. I don't know how it would've turned out If I'd had ran Electivire Lv. X instead of Exploud SV, I've yet to see how that'll turn out.

I've had a couple due to Gengar that were a lot of fun, however the most exciting game I've ever played was the BR I won against the current reigning world champ. It was the fourth BR in a row that we were top 2. We were both playing the same decks(Machamp for Steve, Blaze/BlazeFB/LuxrayGL for me), but I switched out 3 or 4 cards for better choices and took 6 prizes two games in a row. Steve and I both had a blast and were laughing the whole time.

I didn't play another BR, and then didn't do too well in cities due to poor deck choices (Darkrai + Cresselia at the GA marathon? What was I thinking?), but all through the marathon in GA a lot of people were playing Gengar. I ended up activating feinting spell a few times to take games to sudden death. One particular game I had the warp point in my hand to get around feinting spell and forgot about it. That was the most stressful sudden death I've ever played.

i did something that i used to actually pull off ALOT.

destroy with flygon, they kill it. i bring up random card, play warp point, bring up gardevoir SW, use search powers for dusknoir DP, dark palm there once active threat, and psychic lock for an unbeatable setup :). GG.

At worlds last year I had the most exiting battle. So it was battle to make top-cut! And i got donked YAY no DSi that was lucky. Wasn't to happy, uxie start with no supporter!

MAchamp mirror and not seeing an unown G that would've let me kill his Machamp X >.>
EDIT: with RElicanth

My T32 game against Dylan L. He was former world champ. I was former T32er. Our decks were dead even. It was his Dialga G vs my Palkia G decks. We went to sudden death on 3rd game. We were dead even all game. Our prize ratio was 1-1 all game. Our techs did not get in the way of the game since we both counter teched effectively. We went to the bathroom (relieve stress) before 3rd game. The slight change in time allowed me to win overall. I had to make some decisions that I never thought I would had to in that game. I.e. I discarded Palkia X AND Mewtwo X to get set up draws on Uxie. I needed the draws that much. Overall, great game :D

Last year at provincials in the first round of the finals. I was playing a guy I'd never won against and is one of the best players in canada. he was playing dialga G and I was playing autozone(electivre+magnezone). Well it turns out Electivire X is the perfect counter to SPs before RR. I won both games and went on to get 2nd place.

I'd have to say mine happened recently....and we didn't even finish it :)
It was the second round of my first cities-
i was playing
Stallgon and he was playing Shuppet.
He took 5 prizes in five minutes in five turns and then he couldn't take any but due to time he ended up winning, like it was SO insane, I was putting up claydol and retreating because he would OHKO anything else, it was a great game, IDK who would've won but it was so fun.

My Dialgachomp (Fail version) Against his Electivire FB/Electivire Deck. Remove lost all his energies, power spraying his Motor drive/ energy recycle. somehow i didn't use Promocroak.

A few years ago at league my sister and i were facing each other. We both used G&G/Plox. I had a great start. I was beating her down. Then out of nowhere she gets the cards for Gardevoir, Rare Candy, Scramble Energy and Lake boundary. Then she makes a come back. The game lasts for about an hour. In the end because I was able to outlast her I won. The prize count was close in the end. I had taken 6 and she taken 5.

Last Cities Round 2. I was facing the same deck (Mirror match) against one of my best friends to play against in Pokemon. Can't remember why it was the most exciting, but it was an upwards of about 50/55 minutes, and I was on the edge of my seat when the person who takes the next prize wins.

dmaster out.

Hee hee, at a State Championship in Irvine, CA, in 2006, I kept a tiebreaker round going for 30 minutes. I ultimately lost, but man, that was intense. And there were like 50 people crowded around us.
