Pokemon What would happen if Pokémon were the dominant species in the world?

RE: What would happen if Pokemon were the dominant species in the world?

What about Zoo's? Would PokéZoo's exist?

If they did, a lot of thieves would try to steal some of the stronger, rarer Pokémon, including legendaries if the zoo had any.

Would Pokémon be held captive in chains, so they can't use their powers to brake free?

Wouldn't the Safari Zone be considered a Zoo?

I remember something like that happening in the Arceus Movie, back when humans were getting used to Pokémon, they'd keep smaller Pokémon like Chikorita in chains and use them to cut vegetables.
They also kept a pack/pride of Luxray in a cell.

In our world:

1. Pokemon appear
2. World powers and individuals (especially looking at you, USA!) would try to seize their power to gain a strategic militar advantage
3. If they succeed, new cold war. If they fail, humans and pokemon go practically extinct.
4. The cold war ends, obviously, with global destruction. Humans and pokemon will practically go extinct.
5. the remaining humans and pokemon will either fight to the death for years to come, leave each other alone, or work together for a better future, having learned (the humans, of course) the price of paranoia, greed and violence.
6. THE POKEMON WORLD
7. Ash turns 10 years old. in another dimension, we watch, unaware of our dark, dark future.

That, pretty much, sums it up. Even if we question the inherent evil nature of humans, following the russeau model, there's no denying our preexisting faults would keep us (as a species) from realize pokemon's potential for peace at the begining.

In the modern pokemon world, you'll notice humans for the most part left behind a lot of our darkest tendencies, and they live in peace with pokemon.

I remember in R/B/Y/FR/LG in Fuchsia (I think) City there were open zoos; but I think this has been the only instance.

Like Blob said, the Safari Zones could be called zoos. (even though their first purpose seems to be to giving trainers a way to catch rarer Pokemon)

I did take the Safari Zones into consideration, but like P. DelSlayer mentioned :p
The Safari Zones are where trainers can catch Pokémon, I was wondering if their would be zoological reserves. I guess the safari zones could vary by location and include different features. On that topic, we've seen circus's in the Pokémon World, but would there be 'bad' ones here in the real world. Once again, cages, chains, starving Pokémon, being whipped. :( I'm tearing up just thinking about it.

Team Rocket? IDK, it seems like something they'd do to the Pokémon before the creatures either give up and serve TR, or run away/starve.
