Iris could be a gym leader in the game

Iris was shown on the character sheet earlier in July. (Happy August!) Neither Dawn nor Brock was on that sheet, and Iris and Danto were. Put the pieces together here, people. Iris replaces Dawn, (obvious, Dawn needed to go) and Danto may replace Brock, which would be a shock.

Ebverybody needs to calm down, and respect the change that is happening. New seasons of Pokemon involve new characters. Simple as that.

iris doesn't seem like the main girl but it would be pretty cool, spice things up a little bit. And it might make sense because the female protagonist in the games is kind of old and I can't see her fitting in with ash.

She could be a relative of Aroe? (Although Iris's skin tone is lighter and hair is darker.....)

She wouldn't have a kibago if she was just starting out, I'm guessing either a mixed gym leader or Dragon.

Who says she's even caught it she could've just befriended it a couple of minutes before the clip so then she decided to take it with her along her journey to get her starter or to take it to Kibago's family.

I simply think that Iris will replace Dawn like every other generation.I'm not too sure if she will be a starter trainer though.

Tbh I don't think she will be a gym leader of any kind, and like PlayerKing95 has said, yes she could have just befriended Kibago for all we know. Also, I found it weird that Iris will be taking the place of Dawn and not the female protagonist in Black and White
