When 2006 Worlds was played...

What was the latest set release at the time? Like, what was the newest set people could have used cards from? (e.g. like in 2008, it would have been MD)

EDIT: And what was the rule with confusion? Could you retreat in confusion? Did you take 20 damage or 30?

I believe the confusion rule was changed before Worlds 2006. So. I don't think they had to flip for retreat while confused.

I think the latest set for Worlds 2006 was Unseen Forces...

I am certain the latest set for Worlds 2006 was Holon Phantoms (probably with pre-releases for Cyrstal Guardians due to that being the August set).

Krucifier - you are probably thinking of 2005 there since Unseen Forces was released August 2005.
