DPPt/HGSS when will there be a shiny beasts event in the US? how will they be distributed?

It's possible. How else would we get Zorua/Zoroark unless they make different from the Japanese games in terms of catching them.
I think like SinnohTrainer said, the fact that there's in-game effects resulting from getting these Pokémon into Black or White would be a big factor in holding the event outside of Japan (though of course their main purpose is to promote the movie...). Personally I also think it'd be a guaranteed Toys "R" Us promotion in the likely event it were to be held live, because there seemed to be a trend during the latter half of the DP anime saga of movies where there would be the starring Pokémon of the particular movie as the main video game distribution, coupled with a supporting distribution (containing supporting Pokémon from the movie), usually held around a month or two before or after. In the case of Movie 11, it was Shaymin followed a month later (at least in the U.S.) by Regigigas, and in Movie 12 it was Arceus followed by the Pikachu-Colored Pichu two months later (though the Pichu in particular was a stepping stone to the Spiky-Eared Pichu, the real plot supporter, and wasn't held at TRU). In Japan it's already been signified that Movie 13 follows a similar method, with a main Celebi event, and the supporting Shiny Beast event. Of course, it'd be foolish to go only off of observed trends, but what I really think it boils down to is the fact that these Pokémon are promoting a film, giving them higher priority from officials. That's the same reason you don't see specific events like the Pokémon Center Tropius or Whiscash leave Japan.

@gary walsh yeah i agree with you. i just wish that they would hurry up and reveal the airdate of Movie 13 in the US. A year ago, Arceus Movie would have already been annouced. so what is taking so long? i know some people are thinking that they would go back to the same pattern for movie 10 and 11 with Movie 13, with the movie airing in January or February but that i don't see happening. i honsetly think and hope that Movie 13 will air sometime in November or even December because if they were able to air Arceus and the Jewel of Life by the end of Last year, then they should be able to air the Zoroark Movie before the end of this
year. yes we do have two movies in 2009, but if they were to wait sometime next year to air the Zoroark Movie then that would ruin the pattern of there being a Pokemon Movie every year. you got Movie 12 in 2009, then you got Movie 13 in 2011 skiping 2010, that wouldn't make any sense. plus in addition to that, there using Celebi sleeves for our next prerelease of our next english set HS Triumphant Due for release on November 3rd,(which Celebi is in the set) which definitely hints at Celebi event for the US very soon! because usually they delay the TCG until the game, event or movie is released. that's how we were able to speculate about Arceus having its event early due to its early reveal and its TCG set annouced to come out in Novemeber 3rd 2009 in August 2009. if this doesn't hint to a Celebi event and Zoroark Movie air, then i don't know what does!!

It would sound really nice but I doubt there will be one because the event was basically to advertise the 13th Movie. We'll probably get something else for Zorua and Zoroark, like those Toys 'R' Us events.
They will dont worry. How else will we get Zoroark? But it might not be the shiny beasts because that was just to promote the 13th movie. In fact they could just have no event at all and you can capture Zorua in-game for the english releases of B/W. Also we might not get these until B/W releases but either we're going to have to wait a bit longer for the Victini event to pass on, or we could just have the shiny beasts first and no victini through an event at first. Oh the possibilities....
Maybe they'll put Celebi as a WiFi event and the beasts as in-store events, like they did with Arceus and Pichu.
