When Will They Stop?

Ash and mewtwo? That is very unlikely. Yeah Ash could do with some better pokemon but I think it is safe to say that pikachu will not be leaving anytime soon. I want charizard to come back at some point.

Mewtwo belongs to Giovanni, there is no chance at all that Ash will end up with it any time soon.

Charizard pops in every so often when Ash feels like he needs him.

Ash could be quite the accomplished Trainer if he actually caught some rather than befriending them and then leaving them. Too bad. Just because you want to be friends with them doesn't mean you can't also catch them and add them to your army of awesome.

Yes, he's a tool, but he's the main character, and he's here to stay.

EXCUSE ME! BUT ASH STARTED HIS JOURNEY AT AGE 10. xD Lawl.

So is Pokémon Cronicles like a side-series? Will Ash be back in the new series or not? Maybe he's just taking a break, hanging out with his mom xD

Ash could be standing over a half-dead legendary, with ten billion Poké-Great-Super-Master balls, but just help it out and send it on its way. I guess it would distroy some natural order? =/

I want to see charizard appear a lot more because that is one of his best pokemon.:)

^I think his voice actor is to blame for that XF

Also, I think Ash with a low voice and a bunch of ubers would scare away the little kids watching the show, and I think they're also helping to keep Pokémon alive, so, keep the show the same, or we'll lose the small fankids who'll turn into pokéfans like us :F

Immortality....I like it!:p The pokemon anime started in 1998 so that makes ash 18! Maybe he's just a midget, or the story is just going faster than our time.

Okay, again, Ash is constantly on the move.

Just because we are only told about Ash's adventure once a week does NOT mean that it takes 1 week for Ash to get from the location in episode 1 to the location in episode 2.

It may have taken us ten years to learn about Ash arriving in Sinnoh, but that doesn't mean it took Ash 10 years to get there.

well, if he does do that in USA, then He would only be like, 20 in USA and like 13 in the Dutch =}

I like the pokemon anime the way they were except for the team rocket.
They were a sorry excuse for existing

They were funny but it is time for more bad guys and the show is excellent and I hope it goes for at least another 100 years.:)

Yup. It inspired me to play when I was a youngster, the same with my brother. No wait, I still am a youngster! :p Oh, I don't know why, but my brother thinks that it sucks now. O yeah now I remember, because Ash has a low IQ and has that whole "friendship" stuff but I don't mind :). And he also says that the songs are getting worse. 4 Kids entertainment makes opening songs worse he says.

Doesn't matter how many episodes you've seen in whatever country, your time is not the same as Ash Ketchum time.

Dutch people just don't get told about Ash's adventures as much as us Yanks do, I guess.

Ash Ketchum lives within what one would call a personal time loop, which means he is kept in a state of unchangingness. Basically, it means he never ages and never really learns much. For example:

1) He hasn't aged a bit.
2) He still never recognises team rocket in those disguises.
3) Pikachus voice has still failed to rip apart his ear drums.

Well, that's a theory anyway. As for why he's in the personal time loop in the first place... it was, err, Alakazams fault.

Cool theory. Let's blame it on Ash's dad.

Does this mean that anyone that travels with Ash is affected by this loop? None of Ash's companions seem to be able to recognize Jessie's gravity-defying curl and the fact that their voices are almost never disguised...

The reason they do that is because the new people that are just getting into pokemon don't understand who they characters are yet and there is at least 1,000 kids or more a day that probobly just saw their 1st episode so they do that so kids of all ages can pick up on it right away like I did and all of us did too. That is why they do that.:)

I don't think we should be making fun of Ash, but seriously, that show needs to change. The show is for kids sooooo young they don't understand the changing world. Ash has never had 1 birthday, and I can sum up an episode I've never seen. Fades in:Ash is eating one of Brock's delicious meals. They talk, then meet someone with a pokemon. That pokemon and Pikachu are taken by team rocket. The baloon that holds team rocket pops and they blast off again. The small child in front of the TV at home laughs and laughs. The exeption to this is the 1 episode ever shown without team rocket. Also, ashes pokemon never evolve. EVER.His bulbasaur must remain cute and cuddly so that a new born can enjoy the show. The only quality of this show is that it's entertaining. I doubt that even if they fixed it, Pokemon will never be what it was the 1st year it came out. Ash is O.K., but they need to make him tougher. Maybe let him age?

(p.s. charizard scares the target audience)

Well it is aimed at kids because little children= big money. As for why Ash isn't older I already said that the anime was only originally going to run for a few months. Though I do agree that maybe there are some storylines that need changing. For example during advanced challenge they seem to always introduce themselves in the same way. Maybe team rocket should win one time, even if it is only a really small victory.
