When Will They Stop?

Okay, I take some of the stuff I said back. But really they need to change Ash, they dont need to take him out, but just change him... He can keep his Pikachu, but he needs stronger Pokemon. I dont watcj the show a ton, so I'm sure someone is going to say what happened to it when I ask, but what ever happened to his Charizard? And his Muk? Why doesnt he evolve Bulbasaur, or anything like that... Well, I dont want to ramble to long, but they should
1. Get Ash Some Better Clothes
2. Evolve Some of His Pokemon
3. Make a villian team actually strong...

What I mean by #3 is that they make Team Rocket sound like some wussy little organization that will always loose. I agree with good over evil, but they always have Ash win pretty much without a fight. They need to make Team Rocket stronger, I've always loved Team Rocket on Pokemon Red and Blue.

I also apologize for the use of the word gay...

I agree. The anime is very, very stale nowadays. Each episode revolves around the same thing. Ash and friends find a new pokemon, use a pokedex on it, Team Rocket interrupts somehow, they fail and get blasted off again, and some filler plot. Another thing I have a certain dislike for Ash, who does not show reasonable intelligence and never shows to improve on it. He never at least win one championship (Orange Islands doesn't really count; it's not part of the main series and only a filler saga), hardly any of his pokemon evolve when they should (Bulbasaur and Cyndiquil comes to mind), and he gives away some of his best pokemon and never goes back to get them (Pidgeot and Primate, hmm?) At least, Team Rocket somewhat learn from their mistakes (electric-proof robots anyone?)

Maybe we should have a anime remake using the Pokemon Adventures storyline. That way, we have a fresh new character for every saga, sign showing that the main character does mature, pokemon that actually evolve, the evil teams actually doing evil things as a whole (and not focused on only three person team all the time), gym leaders doing something other than being gym leaders, returning main characters (Red does return in the GSC saga for example :p) and no Ash. At least, the story "restarts" when one moves on to another saga, so even new fans can enjoy it, while the returning characters allow old fans to get into it as well.

I quote Satoshi Tajiri, the creator of pokemon who said, "This is the comic that most resembles the world I was trying to convey." Can't beat what the creator says. :D

Thank you!!!!!
And I also have a question for anyone who can answer....
Do they still make the comic books??

dude, it's a kiddie show, if you want to change the pokemon anime, it's
like changing sesame street into GTA(Grand Theft Auto);I love that game

They still do, but it's no longer distributed in North America... There is still English translation though and it's released in Singapore

EDIT

Who said we're changing the pokemon anime into a controversial subject involving sex and gang signs!? o_O

Why not make the anime to where all ages can enjoy?

Not all of his pokemon are bad. I quite liked Ash's sceptile. Ash could do with a strong pokemon on his team right now. However, it is very unlikely Ash will get a legendary pokemon like some have said. Legendary pokemon are supposed to be very dangerous and not many have seen them. Part of the anime idea seems to be that the legendaries are kept mysterious so that viewers want to get to know more.
But I agree, the plot is quite repetitive. Although it has been going on for quite a long time. Maybe they are running out of ideas.

They need to release Pokemon Manga in America for those of us who dislike the T.V. show. MayB Ash needs to get a Nidoking or something, that would be cool. So new Pokemon and a stronger Team Rocket would make the Anime show a TON better.

Team Rocket losing... oh man does that need to stop. I've been tossing the idea around for a fanfiction where Team Rocket (as in Jessie and James) get tired of losing and get serious, do some real training, evolve their Pokémon, get better Pokémon, and give Ash and friends a well-earned thrashing.

I've already got two fics that need finishing (you can read them in the Fan Creations - Pokemon Fanfic Library subforum, but don't post in the topic please, it is dead and buried), and I need some real motivation to write since the chapter I was working on was lost and I hate to start over.

But I digress. Ash's Bulbasaur is strong enough to evolve, but I guess he liked being a Bulbasaur so much that he didn't want to, and Ash let him. I guess this makes some sense, since you can cancel your Pokémon's evolution in the games and have a Lv.82 Pidgey if you so wished.

Don't really know about the Cyndaquil, I don't know too much about the show.

ash with better pokemon might make the show better....

teams:

ash:
charizard
muk
sceptile
heracross (that thing ruled!!)
glalie
kingla

james:
cacturn
aggron
weezing

jessie:
arbok
nidoking (somehtni like that)
delibird (that thing rocks!!)

brock:
ludicolo
steelix
crobat
sudowoodo
swampert
golem

All I am saying is, they make Ash have weak Pokemon, and they still make him powerful... He at least needs to get a stage 2 Evolved Pokemon in his Party, or does he already have one? I havent really followed it for awhile...

His pokemon are ok but he could have been given stronger pokemon.:)

We dont have an alternative besides Pokemon Chronicles

I agree with that. I dont like the idea of removing ash at all, but however, if we had a pokemon chronicles 2 or something with new characters and also the ones who have left, eg may, max harly (he was a good character) and drew ect... Then we wouldnt get bored of having the same person (not that ash is boring, he is a good character). I think it is quite annoying that ash keeps leaving all his pokemon though. He has caught lots of amazing pokemon (donphan, charizard ect) why cant we see all the good pokemon on ash's team again.

Amen to that.
Ash is always in some sort of compition, such as the Pokemon League, Battle Frontier, Etc. And he never does as well as he could, because he hardly uses his Pokemon like Muk, Charizard, Donphan, or any other of his better Pokemon. Its funny, I think, when Ash sends out Bulbasaur against some stage 2 Pokemon. Ash should be smarter than that, same as when he goes against for example, a fire type, he plays a fire type as well, almost never uses type weaknesses. Ash probably could have one a Pokemon league if he actually used his good Pokemon.

A side note: Ash has yet to bet some of the Kanto Gym Leaders. Such as Erica, I think it would make a great season of Pokemon where he goes back to Kanto to fight all the people he told that they should have a rematch someday, or even to go take on the Gym Leader he technically hasnt betten.

Why doesnt Ash use some of his Tarous (SP) on his team?

there should be pokemon chronicles 2, showing new trainers, that would solve most of the problem. The other bit is the pikachu problem, i dont think that is a problem, but since lots of people dont like pikachu, he should evolve into riachu. personally i dont wont him too though ;) It does annoy me that ash always leaves all his pokemon behind. Cant he keep the strong ones or maybe all of them. Im upet that squirtle never evolved. However removing ash from the show solves nothing and will make 99% of the fans upset ( i count for 5 people )
also, ash did beat erica i think

lol...

I'm not sure he did... He got her badge by helping her set out the fire at her gym. Not for beating her.

I think he should have a rematch with those he helped out because in the games you have to battle and in the show he did not battle for some of the badges and they should have a chronicles 2 so he can go back and see the people he said he would see again and he should use some of his kanto pokemon more.:)
