Where to Sell?

$40 for a FA Mewtwo is nothing. I remember when they were $80 when it first came out. Another thing is that there's going to be a tin featuring Deoxys, so even if it is the card that everyone wants a play set of, the tin will kill its value. (That's really my biggest fear with Deoxys) It may not drop the FA Deoxys as much, but I can't see FA Deoxys being worth any more than it is now once the tins are out. And I don't plan on going to Nationals or Worlds, so I can afford (pun intended) to wait til then to acquire a play set of FA Deoxys. I'm pretty sure I have the trading power to do that if they were say $40 a piece and it got to the point where plenty of people had them. The hardest thing is the psychological effect. I mean, I really want this card. I want to rub it in friend's faces and stuff like that. I'm having a hard time actually going through with this.
 
The tins have already been announced, they're Lugia/Deoxys/Thundurus EX. Unless I misunderstood and you already know that?
I imagine that as long as Plasma Box is popular, then this will too. I wouldn't say it's as versatile as Mewtwo, but I think it's closer to Landorus (which is still worth a lot).

Ah I was unaware those tins are going to be released. Then I agree that the value will drop, however I don't see Deoxys FA going below 35$ in all honesty because of it's high playability and as stated before, the potential last second crave before worlds.
 
Yeah, I mentioned the tins in my last post. So with the tins coming out, it was probably a good idea to go ahead and get rid of it?

Yeah, I'd say sell now or wait 2 months lol
 
I saw a couple of Deoxys BIN on eBay for 35-40$. You won't sell it for 60$ there unless you end up being last person who has one.

Can't speculate on increases in the future though. I want to say yes it'll go up like Mewtwo but remember, Mewtwo was the best card before the other sets came out. Now with so many good EX choices it might not go up too high.
 
So why does trollandtoad have it listed for ~$60. I get they have to make a profit, but you'd think they would be out of business if they're undercut so drastically by eBay. So really it's value is closer to ~$40.
 
Damn people gotta be complete suckers to buy from then. eBay has a LOT of listings for Deoxys. Even a full art hasn't hit that high yet.

They'll drop the price once they realize a lot of people have it.

Man why can't people look around first before jumping the shark and wasting all that money to TnT? I would have sold my Deoxys if so many other people weren't selling it. I feel like ill only make 30$.
 
Yeah, I just ended up trading it. I feel like once the price drops, I can trade what I got out of the Deoxys for three more Deoxys if I want.
