Where's the love??

I've seen thread after thread of Ray X lists and ideas, but nothings been said about Charizard G X.
Personally i see them counterparts, both can 1 shot practically anything the only difference i see in the engine they run, Ray giving choice between zero hand or recharge, where as chari just asks you to get the energy back onto the field if he flips tails (which i prefer).
So the big question really is why Ray getting so much love and Chari next to none??

Charizard needs four Energy to do 150, where as Ray only needs three to do 200. Also, Charizard discards those Energy, while Ray keeps them when you don't have a hand (easy enough to do). So, really, I think it's clear who is better. The better card should get more love. Don't you agree? :D

I do agree about the lower energy, but i think the 150 over 200 is a moot point as nothing in the current meta will survive either, also what about Ray getting KO'd with no hand its gonna be hard to set up a come back, where as charizard can survive brilliantly with the correct energy recovery.

I'm not saying Charizards better its just i see them as being equal, where as the popular vote doesn' seem to agree

I agree that they are somewhat equal. A bad start can doom Ray from his discard support, and charizard is very slow. They kind of balence eachother out.

When Rayquaza gets OHKOd you jut Cosmic Power for 6 :/. Or use Staraptor (Probably the best variant. Outclasses the other discard variant IMO) for a Volkner's for six or Aarons to get the level x back to level up the benched Rayquaza.

People seem to forget Rayquaza needs to setup too. The hand discard i no reason not to play Claydol, and the same with Milotic.

Charizard G is my favorite LV.X tied with Absol G Lv.X because they look so cool haha. Charizard can be played, but things out class them. And everyone wants the perfect deck so of course they play the slightly better one.

Getting 2 other Xes in play and 2 Energy (AMU) or just 3 energy (Quaza) can be achieved way easier than getting 4-5 Energies on a single average-HP Poke with no solid charging attack or backup attack (like, for instance, Luxray LA has). And, if you chose 4, lose everything to a single big hit or to a tech Machamp. As far as one-hit KO moves go, Charizard X is the worst so far. Still, Fire is the best type if you need to discard energies because it has some support here and there to get it back. Not enough though, I think.

Unless you're REALLY good at flipping heads with Rayquaza LA, I don't see why it would be better than Ray FB.

The love's on eBay, where little kids will pay big $$ for it. Seriously.

However, it's not really a very playable card unless you've got 2 Heatran Lv. X in play.

yes, the only good way to play him is with heatran X, but if you get 2 out, then you don;t need to worry about discarding and you can have a full hand

also, with rayquaza LA (with one head), and a heatran X, and with your normal energy for the turn, you can get it power up every turn

I've found the way to play it isn't just load and fire with the right accelleration you have o fill the field with energy and if you flip tails on his attack you can reload straight off which buys you time to restock your field

I built a deck a while back with him. It focused on SW electivires to recover the energy you need. Charizard only needs two fire energy, so you can attach one, then flints the other or get it from Rayquazza.

I have love for Charizard G, just not $30 worth.

I'll agree that $30 is a steep price for a fun deck and you still wanna kick butt with, i tend to get lucky with my pulls (plus he's tinned) i've already got one (in fact i've pulled all 3 tins), the tin will make 2
