Nah, they pretty much suck. Specially Snorlax.
Good starters include:
Jirachi (Deoxys)
Mawile (Crystal Guardians/Power Keepers)
Tauros (Crystal Guardians)
Eevee (Delta Species, Call for Family)
Holon's Castform (Holon Phantoms, Delta Decks Only)
Budew (Diamond/Pearl)
Sableye (Crystal Guardians)

Pinsir is alright, only thing I've seen it in is Swarmdra though. Snorlax doesn't work though lol especially since it has such a huge retreat cost.
