Oh, Derick Benz, and Something Lewis are the authers of the 'Grey Griffins' series. I still have to read the 3rd one in that set...

Franz Kafka is really great, I especially love his Metamorphosis book/short story collection. Although I have a lot of favorites I'd probably have to say George Orwell with such great satire in his books including 1984 and Animal Farm, I think he's a real great observer of the Soviet Union's practices.
