Pokemon has a influence on us all. That's why we're here. Now, why do you love pokemon?

I love pokemon because of the awesome movies they make, and the video games. :D

I like them because of all the amazing possibilities. Just think, tens of thousands of people worldwide play and no two play the same way.

Pokemon is addicting and its true.First time I played I immediately became hooked ever since.Heck still have my old Emerald,Thats how addicting it can be.

I like it mainly because most of them are based on animals (although I also like those that are based on inanimated objects)...

I like pokemon because the games are just so fun and addicting. I also think that the card game is really fun. It's all just really addicting.

I like it because it is addicting. You can tell I love it because I have the very first pokemon game, plus all the others. :D

its the only good RPG any more, zelda is kinda weird except for the ocarina of time game for old N64 (which still works, same one i had since the 90's) and megaman battle network ended, so the other rpgs are just rip offs or really lame.

i remember the 90's pokemon craze.

I love Pokemon because of well.....EVERYTHING!!!!! :D

Please elaborate more upon your logic ~ Juliacoolo

I like Pokemon because they all possess (on some level) what one could call strong magical powers. In addition to Pokemon I'm a huge sci-fi/horror/fantasy fan. And for me bonus points if you're a legendary, if you're cool, or if you're cute (yes I know the last two are subjective). That's my reasoning for the games anyway.

I like the cards because the holos are very cool, alot of the artwork is neat, and it's the only card game I've been in that has been around a really long time (the second longest being 1E Star Trek...unfortunantley as far as I'm concerned it's too bad the Sailor Moon CCG and the Buffy CCG didn't last more than a couple years).

I'd probably have to say artistic designs (albeit not all of them), along with game design in general (I say in general because there were some things I did not approve of, like being oversaturated in terms of sheer quantity, from the amount of pokemon, to the items). The art aspect is a huge part of why I am still following the pokemon scene (TCG I ditched years ago, and I'm not really into the games right now), heck pokemon fanart is probably what got me into art in the first place too.

I like collecting things, and since Pokemon has so many Pokemon to collect (shiny, legendary, events, etc.) it keeps me interested. Plus I can bring my DS to university and play it between classes (can't say that for a Wii). The games also have a lot of possible things to do in them (collecting Pokemon for the Pokedex, chaining, RNGing, etc.).

I also like the global connectivity of the fourth and fifth generation games. You can trade with people all the way around the world, and not too many other games allow for that level of global interaction.

And they always come out with new stuff for me to waste my money on (that's probably not a good thing...).

I like to play the games, I enjoy playing them, because it gives me something to do. I've played Pokemon since the very beginning and all of the games have made me addicited to playing the games.

I really like Pokemon because of the anime (including the movies), the trading card game, and the video games. I have been a Pokemon fan since I was small and just loved the anime. I started collecting the cards (even though I didn't know how to play) and started to play the games.

Because the whole 'Collect 'Em All' really appeals to me. Theres always something new to try, and it has many different sections. I'm quite a fact guy, and Pokemon sure has lots of them!

I personally used to play it just to win free stuff from tournaments.
Now, I still kind of play just to see and hang out with friends.

It offers the chance to collect, socialize, trade/barter (I like feeling like a GM making decisions on trades lol), great RPG, allows room to create your own team based on what you like (I take Butterfree with me every time I go to stomp on the elite 4 lol).

It is just a fun, social, thinking person's game (yes, it does involve thought lol)
