why does everyone like lunatone SV and solrock TR so much?!

It is used in spread decks. Before, because of nidoqueen and Garchomp C, spread was nothing but crap. But now with them, heal is impossible and Spread can make you win the game in 3-4 turns. Plus, Garchomp C can t snipe Lunatone or Solrock because of Lunatone s Body. Solrock needs lunatone too, so it works perfectly. They are all basics.

Yep, its as he said. They are easy to set up as you can just Collector for them and something else still.

Solrock locks healing such as Garchomp C and Queen. While Lunatone protects solrock from attacks.

You probably wont see them in anything but a spread deck, but who knows....

They can also be used as a tech against tanks... Donphan, Steelix, Scizor, etc. that use Blissey PL/Blissey Prime/Blissey PL as healing. Of course, it also helps against Garchomp C X.

It's not really a tech against healing decks. It's just a tech so decks that spread don't get ruined by healing. Spread isn't even all that great right now, because the best two spreaders [as I see it, Obama and T-tar] hurt their own bench, Garchomp can kill Manectrics, and then you've got tons of damage placed on everythin just waiting for easy prizes. Gyarados can also keep a low bench, Hunter out of damage, and Sableye doesn't even get hurt against the only one doing damage to anything. We'll see what people can do.

What is Obama?

Normally, when playing Manetric, we usually attach a Bench Shield, so...

actually, Obamasnow doesn't hit your own bench. Snow play hits all of your opponent's pokemon that aren't grass or water type. So unless it has been errata'd, it doesn't hit your own bench.

@wang: Obama is Abomasnow in general, and usually Abomasnow from Stormfront.

@ wang zitong should i use them in my spread deck? (elective TR, gyarados SF and gengar SF/lv.x)

I don't get how Gyarados spreads, but if you have room for the LunaRock combo and you play a spread deck, you should definitely consider playing them

I don't really see the use of playing the Lunasol heal lock combo in spread decks unless the spread deck is centered round Gengar lvX which can level down Dialga G lvX - the card which stops the combo cold, leaving you with 2 dead cards on your bench and unless you play Seeker or SSU they'll be nice snipe bait for Garchomp C lvX. the healing combo only really works against Luxchomp and that's if they're not teching in a DGX which is a pretty common tech is Luxchomp now days.

lol @ lunarock is snipe bait for Chomp X. Obviously, you play the SV lunatone, which protects your Lunatones and Solrocks from all attacks of LV.X's. Of course, that also gets canceled by Dialga, but running Drifblim UD or other anti-Dialga techs is no problem for most decks.

play abomasnow with a blaziken FB lv x tech to OHKO DGX. im pretty sure thats the tech that made the abomasnow deck that did good in worlds, well... do good. its also a good disrupter. drag somthing up, then next turn lvl up and spread, and if they havent retreated, the burned active takes 60 instead of 20.

Why gengar SF? If you put Lunarock combo and Gengar lv.x, why not curse one? It moves damage, which is very powerful. Plus, run Gallade 4 Lv.X. By putting it one the active Gllade 4, you put a damage counter on each of your opponent pokemon. Then, retreat and spread. If they put another pokemon on the bench, move damage with curse.

Gyrados as a counter is really not good because you need to discard 2-3 magicarps before it does something. Plus it has a heavy retreat.

VS SP, level up gengar prime and lost zone their Lv.X. Then add a curse gar on the bench and spread.

Jirachi UL can be useful.

Bench Shield? In a deck without Contest Hall? Madness.

Also, what do you do against a benched Dialga G X? Certainly you won't try Luring Flame.
