WHY HASN'T TEAM ROCKET'S MEOWTH EVOLVED???

ok ok so meowth is lazy and gets beaten but don't you think he gained something in the last 10 years."except for weight"=^)@=
 
but if meowth did evolve that he should he would be better because persian is way better than meowth in the show.
 
... and let's be honest boys and girls, Persian just isn't that great;) Imagine a talking Persian... with Meowth's personality. Just wrong. Wrong I say! Meowth's cool as it is, he doesn't need to change.
 
Has Meowth ever said he doesn't want to evolve in the show?
 
And he probably never will. I just can't see Meowth's character on a Persian. =P Besides, when does he actually even battle?

It's a cool concept though. I'd be interesting if the Pokemon anime ever has some sort of time skip and we see Meowth return a talking Persian. :p
 
Not only would it be odd to see Meowth as a Persian, but I imagine it would be harder for him to get around since Persian walks on all fours.

He rarely ever battles as a Pokemon. I think he's maybe done it like... twice, ever. And both times he was defeated, really quickly.
 
Meowth never once actually said he doesn't want to become a Persian, but it definitely appears as if he doesn't want to.
I personally feel that Meowth has a grudge against Persians in general because of Giovanni's Persian.

Also, I think there was an episode or two where other trainers had Persians, and he would immediately feel hatred towards them.

I don't think Meowth would want to evolve into a Pokemon that he sees as his enemy.

ACtually, his original hate was from a female Meowth in the city. Quickly infatuated, he tried many ways to impress it. Even learning to speak and joining Team Rocket.

Several years later (or months, I can't remember), he returns and finds out that the Meowth has been abandoned by her trainer and is living with a bunch of alley cats, lead by a Persian. When trying to help her, the Persian bats him away, and Meowth challenges him to a duel upon the rooftop. Eventually, the dual comes to a single strike from both sides. Meowth wins the dual but the female Meowth rushes to the Persians side, stating that she's in love with the Persian. Meowth gets the "broken glass image" treatment.

There's some fuzzy details, but I think that's about it.
 
Exectly thats the episode i was triying to remember.

Anyways Meowth doens't want to evolve so let him be how he is,

"I'm a Persian look at me I can talk" xP not good. REALLY ODD.
