why is uxie lv x so popular?

Simply put:
With Claydol being rotated out Uxie X is now the new draw power.
It is like having a Pokedex every turn.

Any other ideas? lol

Splashable in decks, provides good draw-power, decent attack, can get out of a pinch with Psychic Restore.

Any more questions? ;D

On the topic of T&T, I don't think it's worth that much, and I don't think ANYONE does. They just jacked the price up for when they get more stock. ;_;

Uxie Lv.X is one of few pokemon that has some effective draw power every turn, (It also has a decent attack) and Uxie LA is already used in every deck, so all you have to do is, bring up Uxie, level up, attach Unown Q, Retreat, and there's your draw power.

Edit: Ninjad!

A mirror match luxchomp/SP will often go like this:
Dragon rush Garchomp, Snap attack Rvenge KO, Toxicroak G promo Revenge KO, Uxie X Revenge KO, and if they have one, Uxie X KO. So you want to get the first dragon rush, so you get 3 prizes to their 2.

it's just so darn awesome. :3 Duh!

Your comment adds little to the discussion.
Please use examples of why it is so awesome.

I'm sure after all DP sets are pulled from competition, Uxie X will drop down to 20$ or so.

Just like Claydol used to be 20$ a piece, now its 4$. Poor guy, we'll all miss him. Uxie X will be purely for collection sooner than later.

I can buy a Uxie X for $40.00 at my local card shop! :p I just hate the thought of spending $40.00 of my hard earned money on 1 card.

@dragonpulse20: If I were you I would buy that $40.00 Uxie Lv.X and use/sell it to make a profit. Uxie Lv.X's price is going to continue to rise slowly untill there is something to replace it, and there may not be anything to replace it for awhile.

I agree with Card Slinger J. Uxie lv.x is way overrated. Why anyone would pay 80 dollars for a card that can't really do much besides draw a card is beyond me. There are plenty of other Pokemon that can draw cards that cost way less.

Some people believe it is the best way to draw cards, so they will pay any price for it. If I didn't already have one and needed it for my deck to be its best, I would definently pay $80 for it.

Serious players will pay as much as it takes for a certain card(s) they need.

You can't compare Uxie LV.X and Magnezone Prime.

Fitting a 1-1-1 Magnzeone Prime line into SP is not going to work... whereas a 2-1 Uxie LV.X works perfectly.

Every deck in the format, as far as I know, plays at least 1 Uxie. It shouldn't be too hard to make space for an Uxie LV.X. Uxie is also a Basic, so leveling it up may be easier than setting up a 1-1-1 Magnezone Prime.

Do not forget it is the best machamp counter in SP decks.

I play 2-1 uxie, an unown q and a lucario GL tech lline. Its 3 spots (same as magnezone) but is infinitely more consistent, is a decent backup attacker, destroys machamp, does wonders against gyarados, Uxie X makes uxie a not so terrible and able to donk start, and the Q helps with bad starts. Does Magnezone do that? I dont think so.
