Wi-fi not working, need help.

I went and got a Wi-Fi USb connector today, and I installed and everything, but when I tried to connect my Pearl to it, it said that I needed a "WEP Key" and I don't know what that is, or how to get one.


PLEASE HELP!

You shouldn't need a WEP key for the USB connector. Did you install the software and change the settings on your game?

Ummm, on your game, you need to select USB connector, and then it'll do a test, and you need to grant permission on your comp, and it should work.

Do you think that it might not work because of interferance?

It is also asking me for an SSID and I don't really know what that is either.

Yeah, you might have to take down your Firewall. It can't work with it up.

I turned off my firewall, and I tried again, but it still won't work.

Where did you get the Conector?

SSID - The access point name/router...
WEP key - The password provided with the router to access the router.

When you buy the router, you should have gotten the password with the router...

The WEP key should be found at... The manual I guess.

I found mine in the manual.
