Wii Problems

Here where I live they are $200.00 dollars down from $250.00 That is a pretty penny here for a Wii. Don't know the Price where you are but here that is a lot of money. Almost all the people that don't have one can't get one right now.:)

Actually, according to http://wiiso.com/showthread.php?t=49776, it lists what things are legal and illegal (In the US).

LEGAL
Homebrew Channel
Homebrew Games
Emulators
Homebrew Roms for said emulators
Homebrew Apps that don't allow backup capability
Softchip

ILLEGAL
Modchips
cIOScorp (uses some licenesed Nintendo coding)
Backup Loaders (be they USB or disc)
"Back-Up" copies
Licensed ROMs
Download WiiWare/VC Titles
DVDx (this allows use of DVDs, which was never meant to play on the Wii, thus taking money from "real" DVD sources)

Backup Loaders, which are used to force the region are illegal. I would look up what are the laws for your country to be sure.
 
They were going to add a DVD player to the Wii but scrapped it right before it was released.:)
