Will Ash go back for his Pidgeot?

Y'all who said ash forgets about his pokemon are obviously not following the anime right now.

But a couple of months back, there was a rumor going around that Paul somehow went to the Kanto region and caught ash's pidgeot. I don't believe it, but I'm just posting it as food for thought.

Wow I wish people would read >_>

I think the rumor was started when people was trying to think of ways to make it more interesting. I do have to say, it is something Paul would do....

Yeah but why would the show do that Pidgeot likes ash and it wouldn't allow itself to get caught by another trainer.

Ash never actually released Pidgeot though. It's like Pikachu: it's just outside of its Pokeball, but cannot be put into another(like when Dawn tried to capture Pikachu in the first episode, for instance...).

He might go back for Pidgeot. He might take it to the next region who knows. It would be pretty good to see Ash taking atleast one of his Pokemon to the Isshu Region. If he does actually take one I am thinking either Quilava or Pidgeot. Though he will most likely catch Mamepato. Which would mean that he has two flying types on his team.

I'd like to see it, but it will probably never happen. He probably had his fingers crossed when he promised.
