Will/should we get Stage 1/Stage 2 EX cards?

I wouldn't like non-legendary EX. That is how it should be done and it is being. EX's do have ruined people who can't afford that kind of cards. What I don't like is that being basics you can just play the best cards immidiatly. So I would prefer something like Level X. The only EX for me that is really powerful is Mewtwo the rest are difficult to get the energy and are not difficult to counter.

I am a collector so from my point of view I don't want legendaries all the time too expensive we have seen Mewtwo and Darkrai been expensive next may be Rayquaza

The first thing they should do is get rid of this stupid nerf on Rare Candy. You can't give us access to cards like Shiftry, Empoleon, Reuniclus (the Speedrill one), Magnezone and many other really cool/unique Stage 2s and then expect us to sit there with the basics on the bench for a turn while my opponent plays Dark Patch X2 and then attaches and sets up for a triple KO on my basics with Darkrai.

Once they actually make Stage 2s playable again, then they can release Stage 2 cards that pertain to whatever mechanic is the current gimmick. Until then, just let basics rule the day.

At the moment un-nerfing the Rare Candy rule would be a little overpowered with Vileplume and Gothitelle out. T1 trainer lock shouldn't be possible with decks that run so many trainers right now. I hope they lift the nerf eventually when the format is ready for it, though.

Basic-EX cards already have 180 HP - Possibly 300 HP if you attach a certain card.I think If they ever give Us stage 2 EX's they should have about 160 Hp and some pretty cool abilities to ensure they still see competitive play. Then Remove Rare candy Nerf and Voila! A healthy Format or they could create cards that disrupt basic Pokemon .
