I think that Brigette, Judge, and Skyla give this deck an incredible boost.

Pokemon
  • 3 Crobat (PHF)
  • 4 Golbat (PHF)
  • 4 Zubat (PHF)
  • 4 Wobbuffet (PHF)
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums
  • 1 AZ
  • 3 Brigette
  • 3 Judge
  • 1 Lysandre
  • 4 Professor Sycamore
  • 1 Skyla
  • 1 Battle Compressor
  • 3 Level Ball
  • 3 Muscle Band
  • 1 Sacred Ash
  • 3 Super Scoop Up
  • 3 Trainers' Mail
  • 3 Ultra Ball
  • 4 VS Seeker
  • 4 Dimension Valley
Energy
  • 7 Psychic Energy
Strategy:

The basic strategy is use the Zubat line to put damage counters on the opponents active pokemon to support Wobbuffet's attack. Keeping an active Wobbuffet is very important. I have never needed to recycle energy hence why I use Sacred Ash over Super Rod. Battle Compressor is important to get a Sycamore, Lysander, and AZ in the discard pile prior to using Judge.

I youst to play this deck and is say add another Lysandre and And miltank for a secondary attacker, wo buffet can be slow at times with no bats to add up the damage so miltank helps with that also maybe 2 escape rope because you can use it to switch into a bat than switch wo buffet back out to do damage to something on the bench that may be vulnerable and have damage on it already and....the card that helps this deck flow the most super scoop up, you def need atleast 3 to recycle bats and keep the damage consistent...I'm not sure what you would be willing to take out but I hope this helps

Miltank kind of suffers from the same problem that Wobbuffet has: they both need Crobat in order to do significant damage.

True I agree but atleast one miltank adds for some kind of attacker if bats are already down and there's no scoop ups or az in hand where as wo buffet would have to do with damage counters already on (or not on a Pokemon) miltank can get a good one for 80-100

In regards to Miltank, the deck simply cannot afford to play it. I have tested it significantly and it just is very slow because it required Crobat to work where as Wobbuffet can function with Golbat and having an active Miltank provides no disruption.

In regards to Super Scoop Up, I cannot stand the coin flips. I am considering adding a second AZ because reusing the lines is essential.

In regards to Escape Rope, I haven't actually considered it but it is an interesting inclusion. I wonder if adding a second AZ would suffice or is it to risky losing a Muscle Band...

I have tried two Lysander and it hasn't been worth it. I have never wanted it.

Thank you for the thoughts.

Needing flips or not. Super scoop up is so good. Especially with bat decks. 50% means you get 2 out of 4 scoop ups. Which then means 10 more damage counters. It can also deny a prize on wobuffet since it only requires 1 energy. Picking it up and putting it back down is very simple.

You may say Az is better since there's no flips. But it's also a supporter. With scoop ups you can lysandre, skyla, or even sycamore the same turn you pick up a bat.

Most of the top bat decks from last rotation would run at least 3 scoop ups if not 4.

What do you think of:

-2 Skyla
-2 Battle Compressor

+1 AZ
+3 Super Scoop Up

I think that's good because you still have ultra ball and other supporters to discard potential supporters that will help late game for the vs seeker,, if you do decide to play escape rope I'd say maybe remove a judge or Bridgette leaning more towards Bridgette because once you use one it pretty much becomes a dead card late game

Brigette has to much upside to remove any. I never use it after the first turn but when it is played, I find it very hard to lose. I have not lost a single match to any variation of night march.

As a toad/bat player myself, there might be a few holes in this deck. I understand that your goal is to have Wobbuffet as your main head while doing small damage with crobats for even more damage, but one good item lock with a toad or Trevenant could seriously put you in a pickle. A suggestion is to possibly drop one Bridgett and include an additional AZ or xerosic. Why? Due to the fact that if under item lock, you could still pick up a pokemon that is badly damaged or Crobat for some final sweeps. Xerosic is a great supporter to pick off big items like muscle bands or DCE (DDE with giratina) off your opponent as well. Another suggestion is to possibly replace 3 of 7 psychic energies, to the special psychic energies that allow free retreat for your wobbuffet if it is stuck in a tough situation. If your switch/escape ropes/ other items can not be used, you still have that as an option due to the fact that all your pokemon are psychic types. From the past games you have played, try playing against other competitive decks like raichu/crobat, giratina/toad, M-Manectric, or even toad/bats to see how well it does under those decks. Personally, I feel that your deck needs to include another possible attacker to do some damage. Ill try to play test this deck if I can. Good luck!

I have made changes to the original deck list which are reflected in the most current edit.

I decided to leave in 1 Battle Compressor because it can make a different whenever I get it. I decided to add the Super Scoop Ups because, while Skyla is useful, 3 Skyla was just to many. The edit was as follows:

-2 Skyla
-1 Battle Compressor

+3 Super Scoop Up

In regards to Mystery Energy, while playing against Giratina, it will be necessary to have a second energy to attach to Wobbuffet and Mystery Energy will not be attachable under these conditions.
