Pokemon bank's hack-proof transfer system has sorta NOT worked at all. Today I decided to wonder trade some 4IV Pokemon I don't need after breeding some 5IV Pokemon hoping for some new pokemon to breed and what do I get in return? A level 100 6IV shiny Latias (so legit) and yesterday I got a Shiny 6IV Therian forme Tornadus ( very "real") and I have no idea what to do with them. Thanks Pokemon Bank's hack-proof system! Oh yea I forgot to add they both had PokeRus
Going off topic for a second here.
It... sort of works really well... and sort of not... it if was any more strict it would block actual real legit Pokemon by accident, which it actually has according to some of the members here. Unfortunately technology has only come so far where hack check systems can't tell the difference if they are well done hacks. Clones of well done hacks can pass too. They look the same after all...
A 6IV shiny Latias can of course come through no problem. The odds of that happening are very, very slim, even rare than a 1/8192 shiny but it can happen. So if one person in the millions that play Pokemon happened to have one and somehow it was shiny too, it would get blocked which would be very unfortunate. Perhaps this is why legendaries have started getting shiny locked? To possibly reduce the numbers of hacked legendaries?
So far, Pokemon that can be legit go through, as in well done hacked Pokemon that look real. Although apparently some say badly hacked Pokemon with abilities it shouldn't have or Totodiles caught in Masterballs have gone through but I don't believe it. Stuff can be easily photoshopped and anyone can post anything they saw. "I saw a shiny Zygarde, hurr hurr!"
What CAN'T go through I've seen...
Shiny Locked Legendaries like Reshiram, Zekrom, Meloetta, Keldeo, Jirachi, Celebi... and Victini.
"Semi-legit" shinies. If you used an AR to remove the shiny lock, it is still considered hacking. Regardless of how many encounters, or Run Aways or how long it took for it to shine. (Sorry legit shiny hunters, you should have stayed 100% legit and just moved on.)
Shiny Celebi. ;o;
Pokemon with unreleased Hidden Abilities. Whether they were bred with a hacked mother without the AR or not. It won't pass. (NOOOOOO, no Sheer Force Totodile and Contrary Snivy!!!) Could they at least make this a reality in Z? What is the point of letting the public that it's an option if they don't even give us a chance to get it?
Pokemon created from iPhone apps cannot go through. Unless it's really well done I guess.
Shiny Celebi... T_T (I would soft-reset for MONTHS to get a legit one!!!)
Pokemon with moves they should cannot learn. Like a Roar of Time Raichu that somehow passed according to a member. But without a video evidence, I'm having a hard time believing it can pass.
Pokemon with egg moves or met by apparently hatched, yet caught in anything but a Pokeball. Gen VI was the only game that passed down different Pokeballs.
Did I mention shiny Celebi? ;_____; sorry but I really wanted one... and... it's not real. Why would you release TWO trading cards with Celebi being shiny and not let that happen in the game? WHY?
Sorry for the breakdown and going off topic but I'm pretty upset with shiny Celebi not going through but shiny Mew can. I can live with no Sheer Force Totodile but it-a-make-a-no-sense for Celebi!
Done with my rant, I did get a 6IV shiny Palkia. Went on youtube and saw someone else get the same thing soooo... clones are flying around. If I had to guess it's to either devalue the Pokemon so that stupid people on eBay stop wasting money on hacked Pokemon, or he just wants everyone to fill their Pokedex. A few days ago I got a Magikarp and I was about to rage until I realized it was from Dookieshed, who is a funny Youtuber who has top 10 stuff for Pokemon and other Pokemon vids.
