World Championship Cards!!!!

I recently got a Jirachi ex and a Time space distortion, both world championship cards!!! I was wondering if these cards are worth anything or if they're just as common as other cards even though they have white stars because they come from world championship decks.

they are worth about a cent. Since they are world championship cards, they are unusable in every legal tourney. They are printed in mass numbers, so no, they are not valuable at all.

They are unusable in Premier Events, though, you can use them as proxies (At least you got a use out of those cards).

No, they are marked cards and their borders are silver.

As ruled, marked cards are unusable in tournaments.
 
wow, that sucks for me. why would they even make those cards if you cant use them??? what a waste of trees!!!!

Yep. There are a lot of people out there that fell for that too. What sucks even more is when ebay sellers don't tell you they are selling you worlds cards. Because you apparently can't do anything about it.

The only cards you can use that have a different backside are japanese cards.

You will have to print out translations of the card on Go-Pokemon.com/OP.

Or you can use an English card as your translation, as long as it's not part of your deck and you declare it as such.

okay, another question. since my shining charizard is a lightening/fire charizard and the new shining charizard is a darkness energy charizard, can i still use the lightening/fire energy and attacks or will everything change so that i'll have to use the darkness energy and darkness attacks?

Um... there is no new Shining Charizard in the modified legal sets to my knowledge, so you won't be able to use either of them.

Well, in regards to unlimited I can answer your question. (Neither are allowed in Modified, as Cheetor has said.)

The first card you mentioned is from a Neo set and its name is "Shining Charizard". The second one you mentioned has a different name, "Charizard [*]". They are cards with different names, and are treated as such. They are not the same card; the second is not a reprint of the first.

What other cards are marked? Like the movie cards, and ones from converntions ex. Riolu which has a little Comic con picture that says comic con by it.

The "marked" part is because they have a different back. Stamped cards are usually good for play. I don't know any that aren't.

So basically any real (non counterfeit) card BESIDES the worlds deck cards are good for use.

Isn't that a stamp on the card's artwork? So wouldn't it count as a promo (like the Battle Roads promos)?
