Nice to know they hired the ever-so talented and universally loved 5ban graphics to make art for these special three-of-a-kind cards.
 
These are amazing awards for greatest Pokémon Masters in the world. The trainers that are going to get these really deserve them!

Is 5ban generally regarded as a poor art provider? Or is it just that it's a digital graphic card, making it seem less special? They look pretty neat to me, though they are all too same-y.

Its not specifically that the artist is a poor provider, more that their specific style of 3D art lacks a lot of uniqueness and looks 'cheap' in comparison to full-blown illustrations from artists like Kawayoo. 5ban's Full Art illustrations look nice, just because of the style of the cards but, most of the 3D art looks pretty meh.

Basically it would be like if Ken Sugimori drew all of the art for every single card. His poses are generally stale and his official art gets recycled into newer cards every now and then. It looks stupid when they just plaster some random background onto his already completed official art.

These cards look amazing, no doubt about it. It's just a shame to see PCI relying so much on one artist for a large body of the newer card artwork. It probably costs them a lot less to pay that one artist.

So it's not 5ban you have a problem with? It's the fact 5ban is used so much?

im still hoping for a English normal card that everyone can get in packs Full art Pikachu card :)
 
The full art cards look really good, although 3rd place and 4th place are just too similar, the only thing that differs the two is the card text. Maybe green would've worked for 4th place? *shrugs*

I'd really like a regular full art Pikachu card; makes me wonder why we haven't seen a regular full art Pikachu card (have we?) before...

Same here. I love 5ban but they get hate for making generic Pokémon art.

Actually there is a Pikachu Full Art card, but it was only released in Japan. They got it in their Pokemon Center 15th Anniversary Collector's box.

I don't understand why 5ban gets so much hate even over the other CGI artists. ALL of Pokemon's CGI looks pretty tacky/outdated and I can't tell any of the CGI artists apart based on their specific styles like I can for the 2D illustrators.
