Strategy:

Idea is to use Giratina EX as a "safeguard' against all the mega EX's, while setting up Machamp EX with Strong Energy/ies, Muscle band, and fighting stadium. Ariados is going to add that extra 80 damage from Machamp EX as he is affected by a special condition...poison. This helps with Machamp's first attack as well, 20x the number of damage counters on Macahamp, if you so choose to use it. Ariados seems to be better as Machamp is 'confused' if he uses his first attack which could potentially back fire and cause damage to yourself to the point of knocking him out. I included some dragon energy for setting up Giratina to attack as a back up and to put a lock on your opponent to slow them down.

Thoughts, comments, changes... I'm open them! Haven't made a proxy deck to try it out...just was thinking...

For starters I would drop the Giratina right away, it takes too much to set up, and is prone to a lot of disruption cards. The thoughts behind it made sense, but it'll just take up too much in your deck.

Fighting decks doesn't need any safeguard or shields, they have many early attackers like Hawlucha or Landarous that creates pressure for the opponent as early as turn 1.

I would try to focus on getting Machamp powered up as fast as possible, just about anything that needs more than two turns needs something to boost it's setup through other pokemon or items.

Here's a decklist from japan that seems quite competetive, using the new volcarona which will search up Machamp in the deck as well as add two energies to it, not sure what the entire though procces is behind the deck but getting something like volcarona or landarous to boost machamps energy is a good start.

I concur with @exxtrooper in that keeping your deck focused/based upon Fighting Pokémon. Although Giratina EX acts as a "safeguard" against Mega Pokémon, your opponent can easily still Lysandre around it or even attack it with a non-Mega Pokémon.

Secondly, 2 other Fighting Pokémon are worthy of consideration are Landorus which can be an early or non-EX attacker, as well as provide some energy attachment acceleration for your Machamp EXs. Another outstanding Fighting Pokémon is Hawlucha which is probably the best non-EX attacker against EX Pokémon given its insanely good damage output.

Following are suggested deck changes for your consideration:

-2 Giratina EX
-2 Wally - you can use a Ball engine t1 and save your supporter plays
-1 Evosoda - (ditto)
-1 Trainer's Mail - 2 should be sufficient, IMO
-3 Dragon energy

+2 Landorus
+2 Hawlucha
+1 Level Ball - to help get your Ariados line and Hawlucha Pokémon out faster
+1 Professor's Letter - to help search for Basic energy
+1 Paint Roller - to help you win Stadium "war"
+1 VS Seeker
+1 F energy

I will definitely be exploring this type of deck once the new set is released! I think the set has a ton of potential...and it will be nice to have the announcement of the new sets for standard format in the next month or 2!

@thecowisred No need to wait till the set is actually released before you can start play-testing. I played against a proxied Machamp-Ariados deck this past weekend at league. It was quite impressive.
 
Yeah I've been play testing the machamp deck since the scans were released and i got them trasnlated into english my deck is very different but it isn't really honed down yet I'm still trsting cards like hex maniac and paint roller in the deck but it still has won probably 75-80 percent of the games ive played with it. The only real downside is vespiquen/golurk since it can get ohko for a 1 prize attacker and has a weaness to phychic (luckily mewtwo ex is gone). But I would deffinetly leave out the garitina since it has no real synergy with machamp and instead add a 3 landorus and 3 hawlucha and a couple focus sash for ohko decks. just a suguestion do with it what you will.
 
I am at work in the bush until the end of the month...So not really much time to play-test it. I am out 2 days before the pre-release...so I will take my kids to it and see what we get for pulls in the boosters and then start building from there!

TheKreisChild - what do you use that is different? I like the idea of the Focus Sash...just not sure what to drop to fit them in...
