I agree, but in general people have been really good at keeping material diverse and there hasn't been any mindless meme spam in quite a while, so I don't think we'll have a problem here. People know what is expected in this thread by now, I think. : )
Although I don't exactly understand why references to drugs and alcohol are forbidden when I can say shit like this, but so be it.

I agree, it's just weird to see "memes" in the title. They were explicitly banned from YLYL for a long time.

There was nothing wrong about it; not only was it completely unnecessary and redundant to have a thread solely for funny pokemon stuff when funny pokemon stuff has always been allowed on YLYL, but the content in that thread was always the same "hurr prof oak can't tel if ur a boi or gurl wut an orjinul joke" garbage and the same rarecandytreatment or super effective comics that everyone has already seen a thousand times before. Except it wasn't just for funny stuff which means that aspect is gone for good. Although i do believe we shouldn't have that much of the stuff you mentioned.(even though I had never seen most of it because I don't look up memes most of the time and im newish to forums)
