Does turn end when you evolve Sceptile EX with Spirit Link to M Sceptile EX and Yveltal (Break Point) is active?

Moved from the TCG Help & Advice to the Ask a Professor Forums as the OP is asking a rulings question. Also edited in scans of the cards in question since the rules of this forum require card scans accompanying questions. ~bbninjas

Your turn would not end.

Remember that the Mega Evolution Rule (that ends your turn) is on M Sceptile-EX. By the time that that rule would trigger, M Sceptile-EX is in play and Theta Stop prevents Fright Night from turning off the Spirit Link.

Unless I am miss understanding the question, this is an incorrect ruling, if Yveltal Break Point is active, and you mega evolve the turn ends. The item card is disabled, thus meaning the mega rule will apply.

I questioned this ruling and followed up on the Prof forums for pokemon.com

You are right, Lukiido... Sorta. That does apply for all Mega Evolutions, except for M-Sceptile. Theta Stop prevents Fright Night from "disabling" the Spirit Link once it has Mega Evolved and your turn doesn't end, since, as Asclepius said, the M-Evolution rule is on M-Sceptile.

Ah! I did miss that!

Would that apply here though? Yveltal calls out tool cards specifically that are in play, it doesnt state anything about it being applied on the pokemon. I understand that tool cards are directly attached to the pokemon thats why I question it I guess.

It's the same as using a Hammer on a P-Groudon and saying "I'm targeting the Energy, not the Pokemon". That's wrong.

Once attached, it's considered part of the Pokemon. That's why the Spirit Link is protected from Fright Night because of Theta Stop.
