Yveltal EX

My youngest played his Blastoise EX deck and got very far!
He combined it with MewEX.

But when he got a package with cards he got Yveltal EX in it and now Blastois is yesterdays news!
He wants to make a deck with Yveltal, but I'm not that impressed with what the card can do.
Are there cards this EX works with, because I can't figure it out.
His attack feels far to weak to act as the main EX card, bacause he doesn't have Darkrai EX to help him.

Not impressed? Yveltal EX is considered one of the best pokemon in the game today. Although, not having Darkrais are kind of a big deal. You can pair it with Sableye, Dark Patch, Ultra Ball, the regular Yveltal, and Dark Claw and you'll have a solid foundation. Garbodor with the garbotoxin ability can help you too (you'll want more tools like Float Stone for it).

He has 3 Sableye, 4 Ultra Ball, 1 Dark Claw and 2 Garbodor

He doesn't have Dark Patch and Yveltal, can he replace that with something else?

Not having Regular Yveltal isn't as big of a deal, as some decks don't run it, but Dark Patch is the main engine of a Dark deck, and I don't see a way that this deck can win without it. Also, if you have Muscle Band from the XY set, I would use those, as they do the same thing as Dark Claw, but work for every type of pokemon.

We do have a few muscle bands.
My son was thinking about adding these cards to Yveltal too:
Mew EX
Deino and Hydreigon (evaluation with rare candy)
2 Trubbish and Garbodor
3 Sableye
Giratina
2 Venipede, Whirlipede and Scolipede
Sigilyph

But the Dark Patch is a problem, can't find one online in the Netherlands. :-(

I don't know of any online stores here in the Netherlands that specifically sell Pokémon singles, outside of places like Marktplaats or Ebay.nl, neither of which seem to have any available at the moment (though you can check back occasionally to see if you can find anything). If your boys play at a local league, there may be other players willing to trade or sell some, or the person who runs the league may be able to suggest some places.

Yveltal / Garbodor is currently really good... It has taken a couple of big tournaments by surprise. You would need 2 more Yveltals (their price recently went down because tins came out).
