I've heard from a lot of people that Zapdos would be good in this deck as a sort of Sniper. It has resistance to fighting, and can attack by Turn 2, since most decks already run DCE. So my question is, is Zapdos worth it? And if it is how many copies? 1? 2? More? Please help me out!

It is a decent tech and can somewhat counter fighting types as well as do some decent sniping when you need it. It's effective, but no more than a 1-of, and that is still somewhat based on your build/playstyle.

ZekEels could run it, but vying for its spot would be Tornadus, since they both are quite good early game, Zapdos providing a snipe or Tornadus a decent amount of damage. Up to preference really.

I perfer it in my Zebstrika build. It has more HP than tornadus and it can soften things up for Zekrom EX.

In the early game, Zapdos can snipe Oddish, Voltorb, Tynamo or Magnemite by turn two (or by turn one if you're running it with a Pachi/Shaymin engine). All of those basics are quite common and taking them out can cripple your opponent's set-up. I can also easily see the benefit of putting an extra 50 damage on an opponents EX, as it opens their EX up to being one shot by a Strong Volt or Brave Fire and lessens the amount of energy Mewtwo needs to make X Ball a OHKO.

All it has in common with Tornadus are its weakness and resistance. Otherwise, I see the two fulfilling very different roles.

I've been testing 1 Zapdos and Tornadus in my ZekEels and I find Zapdos to be more useful, I'm even considering taking out the Tornadus for another Zapdos.

Zapdos is a very interesting card in Zekeels. I saw someone playing it at our annual Tropical Mega Battle and I was confused at first, but then he went 3-2 and I noticed how good it was. One thing Zapdos is great for in Zekeels is it can snipe 50. That is really good, because many basics have 50 or less HP and are sitting ducks for this card. This adds some early game disruption to Zekeels and makes it a better deck overall. One trick I learned from watching him play was this card is amazing against EXs. He used this card to snipe Mewtwo EXs so he could Bolt Strike it later on like nobody's business. It is also great because it has fighting resistance which helps a lot against decks that commonly run Terrakion. It also has a bad lightning weakness though. If you want to play this card, be careful of Zekroms and Magnezones.

This card is also very easy to fuel. The most common way to power it up (like in Zekeels) is with Eelektrik. This is really good, because you can get it rolling turn 2 for super easy disruption. Another, less common, way to power it up is using the good ol' Pachirisu/Shaymin engine (Which got a ton better with Level Ball and Cilan). This allows you to set it up Turn 1 so you can pick off their basics before the even get a chance to evolve them. This card also takes DCE, which is great, not to mention it's a basic. This allows it to use DCE and Prism Energy which are both really splashable in today's format and makes this a very versatile card. Overall, Zapdos is a great card, and should be played in almost all the decks it fits in. I'm not saying it's broken, but try it, you might like it. To answer Your Questions:

Yes, but not in all decks. It is definitely worth testing.
And if it is how many copies? 1? 2?
1 should be fine
More? Please help me out!
Just test it before bringing it to a tournament, it will be good in some decks and bad in others.

I love Zapdos in my ZekEels deck. Having a T2 50 damage snipe is amazing. You can really beat up EX's on the bench before they can come into play, which is a very helpful. Having resistance to fighting is also amazing - Donphan 3HKO's it with Earthquake which is nice. I've found that one is all that is necessary, but I run two to increase my chances of starting with it. A little play testing will reveal what role Zapdos has in your deck.
