Deck Total (60)

The main strategy of this deck is to overwhelm your opponent. Energy accelerate on Zekrom to Bolt Strike a few times or cover for weakness with Tornadus EX and Mewtwo EX. Raikou EX is a backup attacker in here, and Revive helps me get back the Basics I need faster.

I have been thinking about changing this deck to ZebEels but I feel that Zebstrika is a bit frail right now. I was going to change the name of the deck to EelBox but that would include Zebstrika and I thought since I'm still running Zekrom why not keep it ZekEels ya know? I'm trying to prepare for Spring Battle Roads so any good advice, suggestions, and comments are greatly appreciated.

I don't think Shaymin is really that needed IMO. But for the t/s/s and energies
-2 PONT (sage's could help too for discarding)
-1 revive? (shouldn't be too needed)

+2 sages (discard)
+1 lightning energy (9 is needed ImO)

And maybe
-1 DCE (3 seems enough)
+1 switch or other

I like the revive idea.

Drop the Level Balls for Ultra Balls, just so you can put lightning in the discard and search for anything instead of only Eelektrik and Shaymin.

I'd keep the Shaymin in there, probably won't need it every game but it does come in handy for the tough times where you wish you had it in your deck.

Not sold on SkyArrow, I think it hurts you more than it helps you, might want to consider dropping it for a fourth catcher. I would also consider a Zekrom EX since you're already running the DCE and Eels, powering him up for 150 on one turn doesn't sound like a bad idea. I've seen some people use it in place of Mewtwos, and they just ran an abundance of Plus Powers to take them down; something else that might not be a bad idea to consider for the deck, just so Terrakions are even less of an issue. Being able to Bolt Strike them for OHKO is refreshing.

Also, since you've switched to the 40 HP Tynamos, use the ones from NV instead of DE. Paralysis is better than attaching more energy to Tynamos instead IMO. I am aware that in the later game, people tend to attach energy to Eelektrik to avoid catcher stall, but I'd rather have all the resources I need for my attackers first.

Good list though.

Yeah Revive comes in handy with Junk Arm, and I already tested the deck out with Ultra Ball over Level Ball and the problem was that I'd have to discard extra cards If I got Ultra Ball back with Junk Arm to get a Pokemon out hence why Level Ball is much more consistent for getting my Eelektrik's out faster and I'd have another way to fetch out Shaymin aside from Dual Ball as well.

I'm still thinking of going for a 2nd Tornadus EX in this deck but I'm not sure what to take out for it though. Sadly I didn't get very many replies on PokeGym for this decklist since pretty much almost everyone is running ZekEels nowadays so I'm not surprised that I haven't gotten feedback on that thread I made though. Maybe instead of running a 2nd Tornadus EX I should up the Eviolite's to 3.

Skyarrow definitely helps with Tornadus EX for it's first attack to do 60 damage which gives it free retreat and it also helps Raikou EX as well so that I can save a Switch for something like Mewtwo EX which would have 1 retreat with Skyarrow out. The Spark Tynamo's I think would help Raikou EX snipe a bit easier with Volt Bolt but it's not absolutely needed since Volt Bolt is good enough on it's own to nab prizes as it is.

Skyarrow also helps with the tynamos, thundurus, regular tornadus (if added)
I still think a 1/1 split between tornadus EX and tornadus would be best. Sometimes regular tornadus would help out alot.

I would say scrap the Tornadus altogether. Mewtwo with an Eviolite counters Terrakion enough, and truthfully, Tornadus EX loses the prize trade with Terrakion (do the math). I might also lower the Mewtwo count to 1, as it really only helps in the Terrakion or Donphan Matchup, and it's dreadful against Epicrai and Zoarark.

I've tried Mewtwo with Eviolite and it wasn't a good enough counter against Terrakion, for it to be effective I would need to run 3 Mewtwo and 3 Eviolite or in my case go 2 Mewtwo and 3 Eviolite. Maybe I should go 1 Raikou EX over Tornadus EX and take Smeargle and Shaymin out for 2 Terrakion NV with 4 Prism Energy over the 4 DCE's to get around Epicrai and Zoroark.

Zoroark get OHKOed by a lot in the deck, no point of teching against it.

As for Darkrai, teching Terrakion will drop the consistency of your deck a bit, I'm pretty sure you can just outplay the Darkrai user. Granted setting up might be a bit more difficult, as long as you have 40 HP Tynamos, you should be fine.

Tornadus EX solves your Donphan and Terrakion problem, especially since you're running Eviolites. EQ for 20 damage and Heavy Impact for 50 damage is so threatening when you two hit KO both of them.

Outplay the Darkrai user? I'd rather OHKO Darkrai with Terrakion using either a boosted Retaliate or Land Crush aside from lacking the 170+ damage output needed to KO it from Raikou, Mewtwo, and Zekrom. Darkrai can OHKO Eels with Catcher and Night Spear easily especially with Dark Patch to start attacking on T2 at best.

Raikou only does 100 damage, Mewtwo needs energies from X Ball but will struggle against Darkrai due to {P} Resistance unless I take Skyarrow out for Ruins of Alph, and Zekrom can only hit for 120 damage with Bolt Strike while Terrakion is an overall heavy hitter for this type of deck and gets around the Darkrai matchup quite well aside from the Mirror.

Just don't add Terrakion. It screws up your consistency. You'd rather make your deck more consistent so you'll outplay them. I've been testing Dakrai (by itself) and I can't get more than 2 Darkrais in play, usually, because Dark Patch is very hard to find after your use it 4-5 times with Junk Arm. Also, Mewtwo is actually very useful in that matchup. You are trading 2HKOs with them and if they go for Mewtwo, you can build your bench safely, and if they go for your bench, you win the prize trade. Terrakion isn't a good option imo. Just try to get a consistent T3 set-up and sometimes T2 and you should be fine if you know how to play the matchup.
That's it. Hope I helped xP

Edt: Versus Darkrai just buil up 2 Zekroms with Eviolite; you will then trade 2HKOs with Darkrai and since you only give up 1 prize your in a really good spot :)

Probably better off doing that.

As far as using Mewtwo to counter Darkrai, if you get the first attack on Darkrai, all you need is one extra energy to 2HKO. 20*5 = 100 -20 (resistance) 80. Next turn attach an energy and you have 20*6 = 120 -20 (resistance) = 100 + 80 (last turn) = dead Darkrai. 9/10 times they won't be using Eviolite but even if that was the case, you are running a Zekeel deck, energy acceleration is kind of your game.

I don't think a 3rd Eviolite is needed, even tho it's very useful. Do not run 2 Tornadus EX; they are free prizes vs Zekeels and 1 is enough.

So should I just go for a 2nd Raikou EX then instead of Tornadus EX? One of my friends is looking for Tornadus EX for her deck for Spring Battle Roads coming up.

I don't like to run anymore than 1 Pokégear/Random Receiver. I just use them to be Junk Arm''d later when i desperately need a supporter. Also, 2 Raikou could be a good idea, but it could be bad if Terrakion shows up a lot. You could always add another Energy or something like that. You can even put Bouffalant. It's up to you.
