Looking forward to the new set of Black and White and I saw Zekrom, a powerhouse basic pokemon with 130 HP and an attack that can OHKO alot of pokemon. I thought that Zekrom could be my starter and Magnezone Prime would be a great late game attacker. The tech for the deck would be Pachirisu CoL and Shaymin UL for their Poke-power's. I got the pokemon I want for the deck and I know I would like some type of healing trainer cards. So do you guys think this could work and what T/S/S should I use?

I'd run some form of energy recovery to get energy out of this discard. Zekrom with pachirisu has potential to take prizes crazy fast early game. But, because of the 40 damage it does to itself, his energy will enviably end up in the discard pile, so something like palmers or fisherman is necessary.

Three energy for 120 isn't very good, and the 40 recoil isn't helping you either. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
Also, shouldn't you not be wasting 3 of your lost burnable energy on doing 120 damage?

^ agreed that three energy for a 120 damage attack seems like it wouldn't be worth it however the benefit of doing that 120 T1 seems like it's worth trying. The 40 damage is bothersome but trainers like moo moo milk the new version of potion and any other healing cards would change this negative into a postitive. Finally the energy wouldn't be wasted as long as there is some type of recovery ex. Fisherman or Palmer's.

why would you choose Zekrom over Raichu just because its basic? well how will you move energy raichu has it built in, also Raichu doesn't take recoil....

yes this is ture that Raichu doesn't take recoil but he does discard all energy attached to it and I can move the energy using Shaymin UL, Lucians, heck even energy switch.

Yeah Zekrom's gonna be big If you run an Exploud SV or Sunyshore City Gym tech to cover the {F} weakness. Maybe run some Revives to get Shaymin, Pachirisu, or Zekrom from your Discard Pile onto your bench then use Seeker and/or Super Scoop Up for their Poke-Powers.

Magnezone Prime would be an awesome late game sweeper and for drawpower as well. I'd also run Interviewer's incase you have that combo in hand 1st turn for a possible donk. I don't think this deck will last long but it's fun, Exploud SV and SunyShore are more than likely to rotate out soon anyway for the health of the TCG If it happens.

As for Zekrom taking recoil, sure. If Max Potion was in the BW set you could've got rid of all the damage counters on it (better yet play Potion on Zekrom since it now removes 3 damage counters instead of 2), get the energies back with Fisherman, play Pachirisu for Self-Generation and attach to Zekrom with Shaymin. With Potion you never lose energy so benching Pachirisu and Shaymin won't be necessary unless you get that early game setup, godly with Pokemon Collector and 3 {L} in hand.
