Before Sage knows what is happening, he is being tossed through the air like a rag doll. The elephant's trunk applying pressure to his ribs. It feels as though he is going to be crushed. Then, a loud crack echoes through Sages head. His ribs? Suddenly Sage is falling. He hits the ground with a thud. His head is spinning and he can hardly think straight when three more cracks cry out. Not his ribs. The first must not have been either. He can feel the elephants feet shaking the ground. He has to move or he will be trampled. Slowly his confused sight goes back to normal. He manages to stand up and run out of harms way, even if he is staggering like a drunk man.
