Thinking about adding either Mewtwo or Mew EX as a way to counter opposing Buzzwole GX. Which one would you add and why? What card would you remove to make room for it? Or do you think neither one is needed?

In my opinion, I believe that Mew (FCO) is the better option since your main attacker is a basic (Buzzwole GX) and it gives you free retreat (so starting with it isn't a pain). Not to mention Mew EX being a two-prize attacker with only 120 HP. The main problem I have with both of these cards is that you can't attach Strong Energy to them (meaning that you have only 2 Fighting Energy to work with), so if you're going to put in these techs I believe that you should up the amount of Fighting Energy. If you can only find room for the one option a tech, try removing a Rockruff, taking the Rockruff/Lycanroc GX line down to a 3-3. Let me know what you think, thanks!

I do like Mew, but feel like it's use is limited in this deck because Buzzwole is the only viable Basic Pokémon it can copy the attacks of, and I'm not going to want to dedicate three Basic Energy to a 50 HP Basic so I would be limited to only copying Jet Punch which doesn't have the damage output I'm looking for. Mew EX, on the other hand, can copy the attacks of ANY Pokémon on the field which is so much more flexible. It's 120 HP is a major concern, but I feel like if you keep it off the field until you absolutely need it then it can get you a huge KO.

I do feel like the Mewtwo (EVO) is a good compromise between the two though. It can't copy attacks, but it gives Buzzwole a lot of trouble and forces my opponent to play around it. Thanks for the suggestion though! Depending what changes I make, the Mew (FCO) might make more sense down the road.

I agree, Mewtwo (EVO) seems to be the best of the three, to bad it can't hit for higher numbers though. If you were playing the "Turbo Buzzwole GX" deck (the Max Elixir/without Lycanroc GX variant), either Mew (FCO or EX) would work. Good luck and let me know how it goes!
