Blissful ignorance is all I see from you and most Americans. Why should we happily take part in a tradition started by genocidal maniacs being served by people whose homes were destroyed? The bare thought disgusts me. The fact that people don't even realize this disgusts me even more. Why would we celebrate if we do not know or do not care why we are celebrating? Why not make any random arbitrary day a day of celebration? Because those arbitrary days are not special. Many Americans celebrate Thanksgiving as a happy day because of, whether they discuss it or not, the First Thanksgiving Feast.
